I stand in astonishment that this man is actually Leon Trotsky.
"Holy nuts... Wait... Leon..." I don't care if it is only 15 minutes.
I run my hands through my hair, then turn to Lady Violet.
"Thank you so much." I say, shaking her hand profusely. "I assure you, you will be given a good place in the government after the revolution." I say, a little thingyy.

I bite my nails in a nervous frustration. It is an unpleasant habit.
"If you ever come here again like this, you will meet a firing squad."
This is out of control. What can I do?
"Trotsky is staying here with me since I do not wish for him to go around spreading his ideas or helping the rebels. Also, he would be executed on the spot if Red Infinity operatives found him."

"Well, sounds like I'm in a win win situation." He says sarcastically. He begins to think of how he really has no incentive to not help the rebels, but decides not to mention it. He's grown to learn that Stalinists can be quite terrifying at times. "Mischa, I'm very proud that you and your comrades are able to hold on to Leninist ideals in the face of such overwhelming oppression. It's a testament to the character of the Marxist-Leninist." Trotsky finds it difficult to pay attention to Lady Violet, even though he feels he should, since this should not be easy for her.

"Have you no respect for me? I work hard and keep you here despite the risks to my life and the lives of those dear to me! How can you ignore me in the face of this...this rebel! What do I have to do to prove myself to you!!!" I shout at Trotsky. I ignore Mischa and stare at Trotsky with a wicked hurt.

I open my mouth to respond, but the instant I do, Lady Violet begins to yell at Trotsky, and decide that it's probably best if I don't say anything.

Trotsky turns his attention back to Lady Violet. "I apologize, Violet. I am greatful towards your hospitality, as I'm certain Mikhael here is as well. He did after all come here to personally thank you for something, at great risk to his person." Trotsky says, trying to calm down Lady Violet. "If you like, we could discuss things in a safer environment."

"No, it is better if we are here. There is no place safer." I feel horribly frustrated and powerless against all of this. I have a right to intrude on their conversation or to ban them from speaking at all. But this seems childish and I don't want Trotsky to think I am some spoilt and selfish despot.
"Mischa, you can not tell anyone that Leon is here. Please, it is very important. Just as I did a favor for you, you must do this for me."

"Ah, uh, alright..." I say, still befuddled about this whole situation. My brain is at a total stand still at this point.

Since Mischa is befuddled by the situation, I take the liberty to read his mind. His mind is confused right now. I do see clearly that he came to Beijing not only to thank me but because of the letter sent to him and Bassarov. A letter sent to them by Leon after I left for work.
I become outraged by this.
"Why did you betray me? Why?! I have protected you and been kind to you. I...like having you here. Why did you contact THEM?!" My eyes become watery from fury. All of this is so upseting.
"When Stalin was here I lied to protect you. I put you before myself!!"

Trotsky crosses his arms. Normally, he would argue with her, but this is not an issue of politics, this is an issue of trust. "Violet, put yourself in my position. Please understand how difficult this is for me to remain cooped up in my room. And don't you dare think that I don't know what it's like to be hunted. Not only was I unpopular with the capitalists, but I was equally unpopular with the Stalinists. There was, and still is, no haven for me." Trotsky says, starting to get worked up. He begins to wonder why he hasn't left to join the rebels on his own volition. Maybe he really does harbor some feelings for Violet...

"Please don't join them." I say, reading his thoughts.

Trotsky forgets that she can read his thoughts. He begins to feel distressed, and hopes that Mischa doesn't begin to understand what has been going on between himself and Violet. "Violet..." He says, not really sure what else to say. He wishes that they were debating politics instead of talking about more personal matters.

I stand there stupidly, wondering if I'm really understanding what's going on in this room. Wondering if Leon Trotsky does in fact have feelings for Lady Violet He sees that it's been about 10 minutes, and considers leaving early, since this really hasn't been what he's expected.
"Maybe I uh, should get going... I'm really sorry for intruding, Lady Violet..."

"Yes, maybe you should go...I thank you for stopping by and thanking me. It was certainly unexpected. If you don't mind I am going to teleport you outside the city. It is the safest thing right now."
I take Mischa's arm and teleport him outside the city limits. I stand there for a moment, wanting to tell him something but unable to think of anything to say.
"This is all a little messy right now...."

I scratch my head nervously.
"Y-yeah, I understand... I'm sorry Violet, I really do sympathise with where you're coming from. I hope this isn't intruding on anything, but... Are you two..?"
