Hikari smiled and nodded, letting go of Cephrien and walked to the kitchen, seating herself on a stool at the counter.
"What is there to eat?" She asked, looking out the window at the sky. "You seem different today. Something wrong?"

Ceph lowered his eyelids and stayed silent for abit.
"......."
He shook his head and smiled.
"No. Nothings wrong.." He whispered and opened up the refrigerator.

Hikari frowned to herself as she heard Cephrien's words. She knew something was wrong, honestly, it was one of her powers to tell feelings and thoughts.
"Don't lie." Was the simple two words she spoke in response.
She stood up and stood behind Cephrien, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

Ceph realized that she was reading his thoughts and stared at her. He frowned and narrowed his eyes sadly.
"Stop it Hikari.... please..." He pleaded.

"If you think I'm reading your mind... I'm not. I just sense it." She replied instantly, like a reflex.
Her eyes were focused on Cephrien intently, biting her bottom lip.

Ceph lowered his eyelids and sighed and stared at her.
"I told you.. it's nothing... nothing that you or anyone else needs to worry about... okay..?"

Hikari glared at Cephrien but grudgingly sat back down, scowling at her hands on her lap as she stared down.
"What are we eating?" She repeated carelessly, averting her eyes to look at everything else but Cephrien.
What are you doing here anyways?

Ceph reached into the refrigerator.
"Well.. there's some left over soup.. if you want that." He said.
I wanted to check up on You and Lady Violet...

Hikari shrugged and eventually nodded. She inspected her nails as she waited.
I see... Seem to be fine, the both of us. She answered, sighing mentally.

Ceph lowered his eyelids and took out a pot of soup from the refrigerator. He got two bowls from the cabinets and pour soup into both of them.
He then placed both of the bowls into the microwave and set it for 2 minutes.

As she waited, Hikari slid out of her seat and into the living room, flipping her hair out of her eyes before slumping onto the sofa behind her.
She hummed to herself, her feet kicking the couch in a backward motion as she did so. Then she stood up and walked back to the kitchen when she smelled the soup.

Ceph carefully placed the bowls on the table and sat at his chair. He stared at his bowl of soup with a trouble expression.
"Hey.. Hikari.. if i tell you something.. will you promise to not tell anyone else..?"

Noe checks his notepad. His check list for the day is nearly done. The only thing that remains is to stop by the rebel base and see what their up to.
He knows about the rebels from their files, but he's never seen them personally. One should always know their enemy by sight.
