Bassarov brings Zero a bowl of soup and Finnish rye crackers. He sits down beside her. "Oh, and who is the father?" He asks with sudden curiousity. He would not be very happy if it was Mischa.

I haven't had this kind of soup before, and try it eagerly. It tastes as good as it smells. "Despair wouldn't tell me. And something makes me doubt that Erika would tell me. Though she might tell Mischa, I'll have to ask him to ask her."

"I suppose we will have to just wait then. How disappointing." Bassarov scratches his temple and eats a little soup. "I wonder how Erika feels about all of this. She seems a little emotionally unstable. We might have to look into getting her some counceling."

"She does seem to be pretty depressed. She does have a lot of divided loyalties, and has been used her entire life... So was I but I was used willingly. She clearly never had a choice in the matter..."

"It really is tragic. I am glad that at least she has all of us now. We can take care of her and help her through her emotional problems." Bassarov replies. "Thanks for bringing Mischa and Erika back, where did you find them by the way?"

"Back in Mischa's hometown, in a small resteraunt. Despair tried to provoke him, but fortunately he was too busy talking with Erika at the time..." What Despair had said about my own relationship comes to the front of my mind, and I invoulintarialy clench my fist for a second before I can push the thought away.

"I am glad that there wasn't any confrontation. Normally I would be a little upset that Mischa has been cheating on me, but since I am with you again, it really doesn't matter that much."

"Well I think that monogamy should be a person's choice. And I'm glad I'm with you again, you make me feel complete. I missed you." I put my arm over his shoulders.

"I missed you as well. I like to have a little space though. I will try to be more communicative about that need."

"Oh." I say, not feeling offended but somewhat surprised. But he is right, even if I do live my life for and around him I don't need to be around him constantly. "Well I think I understand. I just hope we don't need to break up again."
(I should go in about 10 minutes)

"I think everything should be okay now. The equilibrium in my relationship with Mischa has been reached once again. I think things will be as balanced as they can be at least for the time being."

"Well I hope so for your sake... For both of your sakes. You are the ones that keep the REbels alive. I just help protect us from attacks."

"Your job is important. You keep us safe. Without you, none of my work would matter." Bassarov yawns. "I am going to take a short nap, care to join me?"

"Of course." I get up with Bassarov and follow him to his room.
