Steve shurgs and chuckles, "Well, maybe I will fit around here then. For some reason, people seem to think that just because I'm a boxer and lift weights I must think women are below men. Not sure why people think that way, but they do.
So why do you call yourself feminists and not... equalists or something like that?"

Pierre goes down to his room at his grandmother's house. Gram is out doing some shopping so he has the place to himself. He turns on his computer and decides to send an email to an anarchist whose email address he recieved from one of the French nationalists. He starts typing. I don't mean to bother you, but my name is Pierre. I live in Paris and help out the French nationalists. I am an anarchist and was interested in joining your group. Maybe we could email back and forth. He sends the email and hopes for the best.
(to any anarchist who wants to post to pierre)

Post by Korbinian Kautsky on Dec 21, 2004 3:39:01 GMT -5
Since no one responded to his letter, Kautsky decides to send the same letter, this time to anyone involved in the rebel movement.
Dear Rebels, I would firstly like to congratulate you for your bravery against Red Infinity. So many rebels have died and been captured for their political oposition to Red Infinity. I am one of the captured. Which is why I write to you today.
As you may know, many socialist groups have become extinct in this day and age. Which is why we do not see the moderate socialist movements that once existed in this world. I would like to change that, since I feel that Red Infinity has done much to discredit revolution and the complete abolition of market forces.
I plea to rebels the world over to take a more moderate course. The revolution 50 years ago lead to senseless bloodshed and a half century of oppression and the hands of a corrupt regime. Yet, no lessons were learned and the Trotskyist movement calls for yet another revolution. I think this is foolishness. There is no deliverance in extreme poltical positions and unyeilding stances. I believe instead that we must cooperate with the capitalist and perhaps even sympathizers within Red Infinity to restore freedom to the world in an orderly fashion.
Any one who is interested in the democratic socialist movement should unite and organize. The sensible voice of socialism must be restored.

I head into the kitchen and see Vossya making a salad.
"What kind of salad are you making?"

"Nothing special. A kind stranger gave me lettuce and tomatoes, so I decided to make a salad with those and cucumber. Vegetables for salad have been scarce in the city all month."

"Ahh I don't like cucumbers. I have some dressing in the refridgerator if you like." I say, heading towards the fridge.
"Do you want some tea?" I ask, noticing that I'm all out.
"Actually... How about some uh... Water..?"

"How can you not like cucumbers? They are a completely nuetral vegetable. I used to live on cucumber sandwhiches when I was too lazy to cook....actually I still am. How about when I had no one to cook for me..."

"I think maybe they're too neutral. And cold. And... Cucumbery. There's just something about them that I really don't like. When I used to work in a restaurant, I liked to cut them, but other than that I have no worldly appreciation for them."

"I wouldn't go as far to say that they are my favorite vegetable. That my friend, belongs to asperagus. Mmm...now, what I wouldn't give for some. I haven't seen it in the stores for at least two years."

"Yeah where did you get that cucumber anyways?" I ask inquisitively. "Are there anarchists in town or something?"

"No, they haven't been around peddling their fresh vegetables. I think these days they peddle guns and drugs" Bassarov replies randomly. He takes a bite of a cucumber slice.

"I suppose you'd have to prioritize... Maybe there are some black market organic farmers or something." I say, scratching my head. I lean back against the counter.

"It was at 5. I sent an email to everyone so hopefully we have a good turn out." Bassarov puts some dressing on the salad and takes a few bites. "Things have quieted down here ever since Erika left."
