I arrive in Helsinki in the middle of the afternoon. It does not take me long to locate Bassarov's apartment, and I politely knock on the door.

I expect that such a mission will take a few months if not years, but he once was in a relationship with a fox demon. Maybe, you can use that to your advantage."
I look down at my papers.
"In the future, if you have a sick relative, just fill out a leave form. We allow our employees to take leave for personal and medical reasons. You could have done that and saved yourself some trouble. You also get pay while you are on leave."

Riku dated a fox demon. I wonder if I know her. This mission sounds impossible but I will do my best. I don't want to let Red Infinity down.
"Yes, Lady Violet, I will get right on it."
I salute her. I wonder if that is the proper thing to do?
"Sorry, next time I will fill out the paper work."
I march out of her office and start thinking about what I can do to get Riku to rejoin us.

I shake my head as she goes. Her mission will not be easy. I doubt she can actually do it, but it is worth a try, and she seems eager enough to serve us. I return to my work.

I sigh after she leaves and start walking around in kyoto, The city was colder then it was supposed to be, possibly because of the ice dragon that was rumored to be staying in the mountains to the east. I glance at them before floating up to a building's roof and watching the sky

Once again I shudder at the concept of what happened.. But I agree, that is not why she is here. "Our goal is, and always has been, to establish a self-soverigen republic outside of Red Infinity's sphere of influence. We want peaceful relations, quite likely even an alliance, but we are also capitalists and nationalists."
