"I don't know. I have come to learn that many people are loyal to Red Infinity while at the same time maintaining a sense of right and wrong. Maybe he thinks it is wrong for her to operate the machine."

"Find out what you can, I guess. If we have to, we might be about to get those weapons you are talking about. The FRA might even give them to us. I doubt they want some machine reading their minds."

"Well let's hope he is one of those. And the same for Erika's son. Hopefully he will at least consider helping us. Ahhh...." I sit down, and open up a paper sack that I was carrying and forgot to mention earlier. "I don't know why but whenever I come over here I'm always hungry, so I brought something for us, and no I didn't forget Mischa." Inside the bag is a large turkey sandwich for myself, and two cheese and cucumber sandwiches.

I shake my head slightly. ... no.... The FRA is taking a differnt approahc... they already bombed amsterdam to get the anarchists.... their trying to build their power by defeating the rebel groups in order to take out Red infinity... the only problem is they odnt care if it costs innocent lives...

"Yeah, I really hate the FRA. They are so bad on the environment and really don't care about people. I would like to blow up their coal mining operation. It is hard being the only Luddite in the world. Ah well, what can be done. At least I am not alone, I have my good pal Riku."

I chuckle as Bassarov talks before taking a large bite myself. However I swallow before talking. "Torvio got captured. It appears that Red Infinity is arresting very specific rebels; I mean Tsubaki could have captured me when I was exhausted, or Sayuka even before that but she persisted in trying to get Andrew."

"Toivo? I wonder what they want with him? The Green Party is the least active of the rebel groups. We will have to work on a plan to get him out of there. But, for now he will just have to endure."

"Right, I will get some sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day." Ludda walks over to a tree and climbs it with ease. He reclines on a long and sturdy branch. "You know Riku. I like you. You are a good friend. I want you to know that you mean a lot to me." Ludda closes his eyes and goes to sleep.

"Sadly yes, we're not ready to mount a rescue operation. But at least we're not as strapped for funds as we were before... Want some spending cash?" I reach into my pocket and pull out a handful of large denomination bills, and grin.

"Where did you get that, Zero?" Bassarov asks suspiciously. He feels guilty taking her money. He feels like he needs to do more to make money so he doesn't have to mooch off of her.

"Oh I sold some old junk that came with one of our friends to the FRA. And it was before I heard about the shelling. I hope you don't mind me doing some business with them, but we needed the money which they have a lot of." For myself I kept very little, just enough for food and cigarettes for the next month.

"Thanks, but I feel wrong taking this money. Hold on to it, and if I need it for something I will ask you. I need to get a job but I am not sure who would hire a revolutionary."

Immediately You could be my private gigolo pops into my mind, but I don't say it. If we were alone I'd consider it, but not in front of Mischa. "You have a lot of valuable job skills, and seriously a lot of people in this town are revolutionaries. Also you could consider lying on the application or something. I'm sure someone would hire you."
