"It's quite all right. I've met much worse." Lena says, looking at the street. She quickly looks back toward Peter through, preferring not to watch the cars fly down the road. She didn't want to feel sick again. She wonders if she should tell him that he didn't need to act cheerful when he wasn't, but decides not to.
She was still a bit shy around him, especially in such a large place with so many people. Lena didn't like to talk much around other people, strangers, even if they probably weren't paying any attention to her.

"They were spotted on the engineering deck, near the spillway for the number 4 coal bunker. Try to catch them unawares, but if they spot you sound general quarters. In the mean time I'll start a hull breach drill so in case we are punctured we won't get deep-sixed."

Bassarov notices that Freak Boy and Zero are ready to do the radio show in his apartment. He puts on his down coat and his red knit hat with the puff ball on top.
"Have fun you two, I am going to try to find a job today."
Bassarov heads out the door to turn his applications into some high schools.

"Ok then. Mike's are still off so don't worry about anything until you see the little blinking light on." Freak Boy said, gesturing to a small light bulb. He places the tape in and leans back.
FB: So, I'm here with a very special guest today. Please, introduce yourself.
LV: What? I don't understand the question.
FB: Just, tell us your name.
LV: Huh?
FB: *sigh* Ladies and gentlemen, Lady Violet Zadung. So, Lady Violet, tell us about Red Infinity's beloved Leader Lin-sat.
LV: Lin-sat struggles reading simple childrens' books.
Freak Boy was craking a grin himself, holding back laughter. Even if he did laugh it would be fine because the mikes were off.
"Oh, Bassarov, before you go... I picked you up a souvenier in Siberia." Freak Boy said. He picked up an AK-47 and held it out.

((actually the rebel base is an abandoned metro station... the church base got destroyed awhile ago))
I sigh and stand next to a building outside of a coffee shop. I rub my hands together and the ground comes up and forms a barrel which lights with an unknown ire source. I use it to heat my hands as i glance around.

The pair passes their time in silence and after a short time, they enter a small park. Almost right away the crowds clear away and they are more or less alone. Peter leads them off the trail and into the light woods so that they are completely alone, some distance from the people walking the paths.
"Alright, I can set up the spell here." He reaches into his coat and takes out the bags of colored sand once more. "This will take awhile, but it should work." He starts to slowly pour the sand into a circle. "Well, now that it's nice and quiet, maybe you can tell me something. I wanted to know about your religion. You mentioned it before but I'm not familiar with the practices of your people."

"Good luck!" I call out to Bassarov as he leaves. I hope he does get hired for his own ego's sake, after I sold the ten grams of tritium gas that came with Amy Smith for $900,000 I doubt that we'll be needing much money for awhile at least... I patiently wait for the red light to come on.

Shade shrugs, "I suppose your right. Well, thank you for your services." Shade stops at the mouth of a side alley and reaches into his pocket and brings out three coins, solid gold. "Here, keep the change."

After Freak Boy and the demon escaped the camp, things were stressful there. Some prisoners were beaten and there were rumors that some were killed. But, peace soon returned to the camp. Kautsky returned to the mine and reflected on Freak Boy as he worked that day. The whole camp was strangely quiet and would be for some time.

FB: So, let me get this straight, the two heads of Red Infinity can't even read?
LV: That's correct.
FB: How do you maintain control?
LV: Incredibly violent and opressive military forces that kill our enemies with extreme prejiduce.
FB: I see... What do you plan to do about the state of the poor and un-employed in the world?
LV: Send them to forced labor camps where they will make our propoganda films and the weapons that our violent government uses.
FB: Well, this has ben fun, but I'm afraid we're out of time. This has been Freak Boy with Lady Violet. Thank you and goodnight.
The tape ejected and the red light came on.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very special guest with us today. Please welcome Zero Amerikanski." Freak Boy said. He triggered the applause sound effect. Freak Boy gestures for Zero to say hi to the listeners.

"Real as it gets. After all, thanks to you, I will be able to make a killing when I steal that painting." Shade smiles, "One other thing." In a blinding flash of speed, Shade grabs hold of Raine's arm and pulls her into the dark alley, covering her mouth with one gloved hand and holding her against the wall with the other. "I'm sorry about this, Raine," says the vampire, his fangs clear as he speaks, "You'll feel a little dizzy when afterwards, but I assure you, it's not that bad."

I shake my head slightly as a few homeless people come and try to get warm, I increase the flame and then walk away, i didnt need to use up the heat whne I barely needed it. I glance around as I walk down the streets,

Ludda is happy that Riku rescued Freak Boy. He never met the hacker, but since he hates technology, he likes the idea disrupting computer usage. It's a nice day and the farm work is nearly done. Why are you working on this farm, Hoshi?"
