Bassarov returns to Helsinki, but doesn't feel like going back to the apartment. Instead he stops by the base and sees if anything new or interesting has happened there lately. The actual rebel movement is very dead. It is nothing like the blossoming movement he had going last spring. Never the less, he remains hopeful that perhaps he can get things organized once again.
