Shade stands up, tossing a few bills onto the table to pay his tab. This city was interesting enough but he had things to do. He needed to assemble a group. Two, maybe three others, to help steal that painting. Maybe some of the rebels would be interested...

I'm still in shock, and denial. The best thing I can do is just take this one step at a time. I try not to look at the whole picture and imagine it one task at a time.

Reluctantly I stand, turn around and part my long blonde hair revealing a large socket on the back of my head. I then sit back down. "I am worried about Riku, Ludda, and Freakboy. I think they meant well. They attacked the FRA and tried to blame it on Red Infinity. However, the FRA eventually figured out who was really behind the attack on their weapon's factory and may not be after the three of them. I am not opposed to any attack on their military or the industries that support this, but I worry about what they may do to the three rebels. The FRA recently destroyed the anarchist base and they could do the same to us."

Iris hadn't thought that bad of it untill her mother's reaction got worse. She wouldn't carry on like this if it was nothing. Iris was unsure what to do in this type of situation so she lightly laid her hand on her mother's shoulder.
"It will be ok, I am strong I will be able to do it," Iris had no idea what she was talking about and as soon as the words came out of her mouth she looked at the blank wall.
I am really a fool aren't I?
"Mother...I really don't have a choice. I don't know much I have only been in existance for a week but I do know that since I am part of Red Infinity then there is no getting away. This is now my destiny, I am to be what I was created."

(Wyrm, would it be possible to shrink your signature image a little? If this is impractical it isn't that big of a deal.)
"That's a start. I could train you in the martial arts, or find someone to trade you in another vocation if fighting doesn't interest you. Do you have any hobbies or interests that could be of use to us?" I ask politely. I take out a cigarette and light it, then politely offer her one.
