The Flavor of Revenge

[Sasha Kropotkin]

I look up from my hands and see Pakkanen standing before me. I wipe my face, moist with tears.

"Why... How did you get here..?" I ask in a confused tone. I now remember that he works for Red Infinty, it must not have been hard to find me. "Oh nevermind... What do you mean by blossomed?" I ask numbly.

[Anima]

"I do not enjoy this, but you leave me no choice. And yes, I do believe you would help her. After all, she helped you, an 'enemy' as you said. I am not blind, Riku."

[Hoshi]

I'm not going to let Anima defeat me. I turn into a flea so he can't see where I am, and bounce away, deciding that maybe it's a better idea to find safety.

[Pakkanen]

Pakkanen gives Sasha a confused look. After standing there awhile he finally speaks. "Oh... I guess you are not familiar with the final stage of development in a fairy's life. You were raised by humans, so it only makes sense. When a fairy comes of age, they undergo a transformation. I guess there must be something wrong with you." He replies. "You're just too human."

[Sasha Kropotkin]

I look downward, as if I were looking through Pakkanen's chest at the wall behind him. "Oh... I think you might be mistaken. I don't have much humanity left." I reply, still numb.

I look over at Antero, he's sleeping in a ball.

For some reason, I decide not to ask him about whether or not he can set us free, as though I belong here.

"Pakkanen. You should leave this place. If they find you, you could be purged for conspiracy."

[Anima]

I scowl and unleash a torrent of holy flame all around me. This is getting annoying. Riku is a powerful adversery and I do not have the time for this. Opening a gate, I sink through. I will bring Freak Boy and Ludda to justice first, I can come back for Riku later.

[Pakkanen]

"I thought that perhaps you would be interested in joining Red Infinity and working with me at the League of the Godless. That is why I'm here. I heard what you did to the FRA, and think you have great potential at Red Infinity. And now that your friend is dead, I thought that there would be less holding you back."

[Riku]

I senes anima's thoughts before the portal closes.

~anima*. If you even try to lay a hand on either of them, the entire city of capital city will be destroyed.... that includes the docks where the FRA ship is... and lady blue... I have already told her that... ~

[Sasha Kropotkin]

I half laugh.

"Pakkanen. There is no way I would ever join Red Infinity. They are the embodiment of everything that I hate. You may not understand this, but if what I did to the FRA means that I have potential in Red Infinity, then I would sooner decay in this room for the rest of my life than join ranks with any ministry within Red Infinity."

I press my back against the wall, and slide back down to my knees.

"And what do you mean a friend of mine is dead?"

[Hoshi]

After Anima leaves, I turn into my human like form.

"Riku! We won! I scared him away!"

[Pakkanen]

Pakkanen frowns. He was hoping that Sasha would be more eager to join him. After all, they had commenced in the flesh ceremony.
"You know, the one that we had at the league of the godless. The christian. What's her name..." Pakkanen tries to remember Simona's name, but it doesn't come to mind because he has only met her once.

[Sasha Kropotkin]

I stand up, still leaning against the wall, and look at his face in complete bewilderment.

"Wait... Simona? That can't be right. There must be some kind of mistake." I say, as though the more I deny it, the better the chances were that she's still alive. "No, your information must be faulty, because I know she's not dead." I say, becoming more frantic.

I take a few steps towards him.

"Simona is not dead....... Is she? No... Simona..... She's... She's dead...?" I say, looking back and forth with my eyes, wondering what could have happened. I feel my knees begin to get weak.

"No no... There must be..." I fall to my knees. "There must be some mistake..... She just.... she can't die.... she can't be dead...." My heart begins to race and my whole body starts to sweat.

[Pakkanen]

"It is possible that it is a mistake. I only heard this morning that Simona Weil died when the FRA destroyed the anarchist base in Amsterdam. We talked about it a lot this morning because she was a well known christian rebel."

[Riku]

I glance at hoshi and frown. ... go back to red infinity..., that is where you belong, your mission will never work, despite what you say or do... I turn and stare at where the portal was,

[Sasha Kropotkin]

As soon as I hear 'FRA', my mind goes blank. I have no idea what he said after that.

"So... It's my fault then... She died because of what I did.... And no matter how much I blame Antero, I was the one who participated."

I feel my world crashing down around me. I look up at Pakkanen with wet, hopeful eyes.

"B-but you said there's a chance she's okay, right?? Y-you could b-be mistak-ken...." I stammer.
