"I hate that woman... Violet... I mean - she boosts up her PR as much as she can, so that when people say things like, 'She took the one woman I ever considered agreeing to commitment with out of my arms without so much as an "I'm sorry"' nobody listens...

It feels nice to be in Kakashi's arm, if only for transportation purposes. He smells woodsy, even though he's probably been inside all day long. Maybe he uses herbal shampoo.

"I've been good, I heard the Eternal Light was gathering in Lapland, which is why I took us here. Some farmhouse, but this doesn't seem like a very good time.."
Angel looks at the clouds of smoke, probably coming from a nearby town. She sighs lightly, knowing there was nothing she could do to help whatever had happened there.
"Sorry I'd been busy looking for the Eternal Light, I hadn't tried to visit you or anything. I just hope they're still around here somewhere. What about you, how have you been?" She smiles again, happy to see Michael and be able to talk to him.

"Mischa thinks that Violet is a fine person. He met with her once. I have not met with her. I suppose I could sometime. That would be interesting. I would like to have a political talk with her to see if she is genuine. I wonder if that could be arranged..."
Bassarov thinks about it for a moment. He rubs his chin as he considers the idea.
"Maybe through Huey Newton, my friend at the Ministry of Defense..."

Bassarov is a little more enthused about meeting Lady Violet than he should be, but keeps it concealed.

"We're in Lapland, or at least somewhere close to it. Petey? Who's Petey?" Angel asks, not letting herself think about him kidnapping someone, since it was wrong to just kidnap someone.. At least she thought so.

"You know what? It's been a hectic week... wanna watch a movie? I could use a comedy right now..." Freak Boy says, opening his sack of crap and pulling out a DVD. Mel Brooks' History of the World Part I "Wanna watch, man?"

I look around the large room in which we are standing. It definitly isn't decorated very femininely, but then again, it has had a bachelor living in and out of it. And I suppose I am not that feminine a person anyway.

"Petey! Peter the Owl. He's a legend in the LIF. I've only seen him a few times but they guy was a psyco monster smasher. He's got the highest kill count of any hunter, which is pretty cool.
But the reason he's a legend is because he left the LIF. And they let him go. He's the only guy who ever left. Alot of my hunter buddies have talked about doing the same. I've even thought about it. But for me, it's a little more complex."

Freak Boy, not having the use of all his fingers and being stoned, has some trouble opening the DVD box and putting the DVD in the player, but eventually manages it and sits down next to Bassarov. The movie plays and the opening credits start appearing.
"As you can tell, I'm a pretty big fan of 20th century movies..." Freak Boy said, taking another hit of his joint.
