I almost blurt out 'Anything but red pop!' but I say "Dr. Pepper is fine."

"Well, we're starting the development of a Mobile Suit program to combat the LIF's Wanzers... you know, like that old Anime show, Mobile Suit Gundam?" Huey said, smoking his cigar.
"I'm a bit nervous though... once we're done with the LIF then the Mobile Suits will be used on other rebel organizations."

"That is a concern. But frankly I wonder why we haven't been attacked by mechas yet. Kolov has plenty of 'heavy' mechas, armed with conventional and nuclear weapons, with provisions for energy weapons. Including manala energy, although we didn't call it that..." I realize that I am ranting, and I stop.

"So now that the FRA is gone, Red Infinity is turning its attention to the LIF. You know, I haven't seen the LIF around much these days. They used to be everywhere. They must be planning something." Bassarov replies. The pizzas arrive and he helps himself to a slice of mushroom pizza.

"Well, quite simply, they just aren't cost efficient." Huey explains to Zero. "Lady Violet is only permitting this because we have a bunch of cash from the Capitalists.
"She also is glad that we can combat the Wanzer, which is an impressive Mecha in itself. Our theory is that if the Wanzer is mass produced, it will take every God that Red Infinity has to battle an army of them.
"If we launch a counter mecha program, we should be fine. What I'm worried about though is if the Byg Zam is used against you guys... oh, sorry. Let me explain a bit about that. The Byg Zam is a mecha designed for space travel, to keep asteroids from smashing into earth and such. Should it be used to target Rebels..." he trails off and takes a bite of his pizza.

"That'll take the heat off of us, but if they ask for help will we help them? " I take a slice of each pizza, which is about all I feel I have room for at the moment.
"... You could crack the tectonic plate with something like that." I say, somewhat flabbergasted. I know the problems with Kolov's mechas all too well, it's not a matter of cost efficiency so much as fuel efficiency, as almost all run on ever more scarce petroleum. But the concept of an astroid-smashing mecha attacking us...

"So, other than the attack on Capital City, how are you doing?" Holmes asked when the waitress was out of ear shot.

"I dislike the LIF more than the FRA, so if they were to ask for help, I would have to decline for political reasons." Bassarov replies.

"The Byg Zam is an army in itself, it could blow up a planet if it unleashed all the firepower we're putting into it... but, hopefully that won't happen." he says.
"The thing stands at just over 50 meters tall and takes about 5 people to pilot it at full efficiency, though I suppose an incredibly skilled pilot could work it by himself..."

"Well, I wish you luck on that, Lady Blue." Holmes said as the food arrived.
He began slicing his burrito, rather than taking the Mexican approach and eating it with his hands. He ate it one slice at a time, ocasionally eating some sides of beans and rice.
"Good food here." Holmes said with a smile. "I shall have to remember the name of this place..."

"Okay. I agree, the LIF is even more opposite our beliefs than the FRA, though we could use their help against Red Infinity........ Nevermind, politics is your department." I say.
I turn to Huey. "No doubt. I've seen planet killers before, but most were either huge bombs or were mounted to starships. Why build something that powerful?" I ask.

I taste the steak, it isn't near as good as what I had on a Texas cattle ranch three years ago, but it is the best I have had since. "This is pretty good. Maybe next time I meet with the Helsinki rebels we should do it here."

"LIF has tried to kill me a few times because of Chornebogk. It is both political and personal. I really don't think I could cooperate with them under any circumstance." Bassarov says as he eats another slice.

"Because, a few months ago, there was a planet sized asteroid that threatened to smash into the Earth if it stayed on it's present course. Fortunately, our Galaxies movement mixed in with the factor of a new Black Hole prevented that from happening, but it gave all us down at the Ministry quite a scare...
"So, our tech boys designed this thing with every possible weapon they could think of."
