"See you around, Ruusu. Have a nice day." Huey says before turning his attention to the scientists and their prototype Mobile Suit. It didn't look like much, but it was able to be piloted by human.

Sakari stands behind Zinn.
"Here, I thought you might want to take a look at this. I found it by Antero." I say, handing her the note that I suspected was Sasha's suicide note.
Sakari felt an apprehension about handing it over, but since he's not a Stalinist, he realizes that the truth, no matter how horrid, needs to be shared with everyone.
"I'm not a doctor, but my guess is that those black marks on him are magical. Antero said himself that they don't have anything to do with his drug problems."

As I sit in the bathroom, I overhear talk about Stalinism versus capitalism.
"Ohh!!!" I say, getting up, and trotting out into the Socialist meeting, rejuvinated by politics.
"It sounds nice to be able to vote for a candidate, and under a real socialist system, you would have different candidates that would all run under their own platforms, education, environment, the elderly, etc., and all candidates would be subject to immediate recall. When America used to be capitalist, one of the first things the masses rejected from the system was the fact that they had 2 parties, and both of which had the same corporate interests. You had a choice between the 'liberal', and the 'conservative' viewpoints, whereas other viewpoints were not only silenced and snuffed out in many subtle ways, they were discredited by those who saw the two parties as the only choice they had the future of their country."
I clear my throat.
"Now, in a parlimentary democracy, which is what they had in European countries, there were socialists and anarchists who would run and sometimes even win offices, and there were countries who even had socialist presidents and leaders. Almost immediately after any such people took power, if they didn't co-opt with the capitalist government, they were discredited and sometimes even killed." I respond, wondering if I should go into the differences between Stalinism and capitalism, but feel that I have spoken long enough. For now.

"Wow, that's really interesting Mischa, thanks." Garret replies. In truth he wasn't paying attention. "Well, I am going to head out. Linnea is waiting for me." Garret says goodbye to everyone and heads out the door.

Post by Archetype 401 on Jan 17, 2005 19:01:15 GMT -5
As Archetype 401 continues his attack on Lapland, he broadcasts another message to the international RI HQ, asking for further instruction. The land is covered in a blanket of thick smoke and the air smells of burnt flesh and charred bone. The Android continues to sweep the area for signs of life, closing in on those found just to cease them immediately.
The panel over the missile launcher in his chest slides closed and the Machine Gun Array (MGA) stops its downpour of bullets momentarily, the barrels of the five rapid-succession fire-arms spinning into a slow stop. The machine swivels its head, glancing about the area, scanning it keenly.

Archetype demolished the city but failed to draw out Peter the Owl. Kaschei watches but grows impatient. "Since Peter is not cooperating, you can attack him later. There are some other rebels of concern which you can attack. Your new targets are Zero Americanski, who is located in Helsinki and Blacksmith, a capitalist arms dealer who is located in Capital City." Kaschei orders.

The voice of an unseen superior is once again heard and acknowledged. Archetype 401 scans the maps of his mainframe for “Capital City.” Within nanoseconds, the location is confirmed and Archetype opens another portal to the said location.
Stepping into the field of energy and static, the Android is brought to Capital City almost immediately.
He stands in a dark alley. His radars read signs of life in high density. Perhaps a gathering. A riot? A parade? He has been warned before hand that civil unrest in this area has been high as of late, and so he decides to keep his MGA at the ready. The infrared scanners shoot from his bionic eyes, letting him locate himself exactly. He decides to head North, and begins to walk to where the alley meets with a main street, his metal feet clanking softly against the cobblestone road.

Kaschei continues to observe Archetype through his looking crystal. Lin-Sat would be impressed if the android could captured the weapons dealer and bring him to the Ministry of Terror. This would certainly stall the FRA's reconstruction.

Dinari spends a lot of time thinking and walking. He never thought the day would come when Red Infinity would take the remains of his wealth. It seems so unfair.
"Don't I have a right to my money and home? My family earned that. What kind of world is it where people can't get ahead?"
He walks until his legs will no longer carry him. Defeated, he falls to his knees in a alley.

Archetype 401 sends a message back to the HQ, asking, “Where was this “Blacksmith” last seen?”
The Androids advanced logistic and tactical computers allow him to trace and track down profiles much easier than any other Android on the market. He continues to move North, now heading down the main street, keeping to the shadows. His usually thudding footsteps are surprisingly quiet and muffled as he walks upon the lawns of houses when able, or in puddles that keep his metal soles from clanking loudly upon the asphalt.
His radar has many life forms on screen, yet none are yet targeted as High-Profile, so he makes no move toward any of them in particular.

As I walk through the city I begin to hear a sound like a man wimpering. I pick up my face and find Dinari Dollar collapsed in an alley. "Dinari! I heard about what happened... But we need to get out of here." I state.

"We really don't know. We have never captured this one and his file is incomplete. We only know that he was selling weapons to the FRA and that he is somewhere in Capital City." Kaschei replies. Normally he doesn't take such an interest in the missions of the operatives, but, since he has had less to do lately he doesn't mind helping Archetype.

I sniffle and twitch a little, and slowly drift into consiousness. I feel drained and weak, but at least I know I am alive. I have a mindsplitting headache, which I realize is because I haven't smoked for three days. I manage to pull a cigarette out of the pack in my pocket and light it, a monumental undertaking considering my condition. "I need some water..." I mumble.

"I've lived in Capital City all my life. I don't want to leave." Dinari replies stubbornly.
"I didn't have much left, just a fraction of our wealth, we were told we could keep it after the revolution. I don't understand. It wasn't that much money..."
Dinari gets up, but his legs are still tired from the walking.

"We're not leaving for good. I was born here, I've lived here my entire life and I plan to die here, a long time fron now. We just need to lay low for awhile, you can understand that right?" I ask him. I feel for him, almost as if he were a spoiled older brother. "We'll get through this, they had no right to take what was yours!"
