Post by Archetype 401 on Jan 19, 2005 21:18:29 GMT -5
Archetype 401’s arms slam into the Dark Shield just to be repulsed by a massive electronic shock. The robot staggers back a few feet, the metal frame of his arms scorched, a few wisps of smoke rising from the finger hinges of his left hand.
The red scanning laser of Archetype’s radar sweeps across the floor and four simultaneous beeps are heard, one from each of the four metallic orbs. And with that, they rise off the ground; four silver spheres about the size of oranges. The red light upon the surface of each ball is now glowing a steady red as they circle Peter slowly. Not making any move to bump into him, yet they do crackle with electricity.
Archetype doesn’t seem to be paying any mind to the orbs sense he controls them with his mainframe, instead he concentrates on the now enveloped Peter. His metal jaw clacks as his logistics systems process the situation, and then he moves to work.
A small panel of his chest armor slides to the side, revealing a red-tipped missile. The fins of the missile snap into place immediately, and then a small burst of flame is seen as the rocket launches from the robots chest, flying directly towards the Dark Shield as Archetype backpedals away a few feet.

"I guess it's hard to ranch when Communist pigs say that your land is theirs and they're building a munitions factory on it." Holmes said in a cynical tone.
"Any idea when we'll have the ship repaired?"

"I just don't like being useless when one of my friends is imprisoned. Bah!" I sigh and lay back for a minute, then fish out the pictures I drew yesterday and hand them to Bassarov, hoping to cheer him up. "What do you think of those?"

Freak Boy gets up with a groan after falling through the hole in the bathroom and then manages to find the door to the lower appartment. After unlocking it and walking out, he made his way upstairs and found Bassarov and the others. He was covered in dust from the floor/former cieling and fluids that had leaked from the pipes in the bathroom had saturated him...
"You guys know there's a bigass hole in your bathroom, right?" Freak Boy asked sounding somewhat like Kraimer.

"You may come in Valkoinen."
I open my office door and let Valkoinen in. "It's nice to see you, what can I help you with today?"

"Well in fleeing the harbor on Long Island we had to abandon all the progress we made, so it'll be at least a couple weeks, if not longer. That was one helluva hot fire after all..."

Post by Damascus on Jan 19, 2005 21:25:50 GMT -5
((Set, if you'd like to talk to Damascus, then you'd have to come to the guest house, because that's were anyone not politically important stays in lue of Lady Violet's house. He wouldn't go to her house unless she called for him, and then, having telepathy, he wouldn't see the need of actually getting up and going over to the house. I didn't see you try and mentaly contact him either. If you did, and I just didn't see it, I apologize.)) Damascus, after digesting his much needed conversation with Violet, decided that he needed somethign to do. He reached out to Violet with his mind. -Lady Violet, is there something that any Ministry of Peace operatives need protecting from? Or is there a mission I should be doing?- He asked. -Also, I'd like to ask about the young white dragon... what was his name...- He thought about it for a moment, then gave up. -Valk-something. What Ministry does he belong to? I've read through reports of his fraternizing with some rebels. Maybe Set or I should see to him?- He asked her, mentaly. He changed into jeans and a long black, close fitting, shirt. His slim form could easily be made out with the shirt on, and the jeans were a little to big for him, s they bagged near his feet. He put on a belt, tightened it, and decided to go with his shirt untucked. He tied his long, fire colored hair back into a ponytail. Then he put on a trench coat, hiding his sword perfectly within it, the sword shrinking to fit in. -I'm preped and ready for a mission.- He reported, brushing his teeth as the final step to the prepartion process.

"The Ministry of Peace now has a dragon named Blake, so it appear you will not be needed there. If you need a mission, I had to leave Hikari alone today without a sitter since Set has been off doing other things. You may report to my house and watch her. As for Valkoinen, I can deal with him."
I hate giving such an unimportant mission, but the rebels have been behaving lately and there is no one who needs to be captured.

"I saw photos of it in an underground British Newspaper." Holmes said, taking another bite of his food and sipping his soda.
"So, Lady Blue... might I ask a question? How is it that you came to be in your position yet you're only 17?"

"I went to talk to Fen, since I hadn't seen her since our little encounter... anyway, she apparently thought I hit and run on her, but that was not the case as we all know...
"Then I fell through that hole..." he said, gesturing to the bathroom, his soaked clothing clinging to his skin like a leech...

"My uncle was the head of Kolov's navy, but he didn't agree with Kolov's motives. He was really more of a father to me than my own father, and as a result I grew up around ships and engines, weapons of war and so on. When my uncle died of cancer I took over for him, at his recommendation and Kolov's endorsement. When Kolov defected I stayed behind with a single warship, Kolov took everything else..."

Post by Peter "The Owl" on Jan 19, 2005 21:36:32 GMT -5
Peter draws a pair of alien looking guns and aims to either side. When the missile launches, is eyes lock on it. The device slows, then stops, though its firy tail burns with all it's might. The missle explodes suddenly, half way between Peter and Archtype, the blast not powerful enough to damage either of the fighters. As the smoke clear, Peter fires at the orbs circling him. Bright orbs of green light lance from the weapons, striking the orbs repeatedly. The titanium of the orbs holds for a moment, but against plasma, they can not stay operational. The fence vanishes as the orbs melt away. But the guns in Peter's hands have begun to emit a light of their own. The weapons ripple and begin to buldge. Peter throws them to either side. When they hit the ground, they explode into twin gysers of green fire. When the dust clear, Peter stands where he started, eyes locked on Archtype. His fists tighten, blue light showing faintly between his fingers.
