The Need for Roots

[Joukahainen]

I look out over the pond as the snow gently settles on it.

"That's just... The way things are, Iris..." I say, somewhat cynically. "There are harsh people in this world, and the only way to survive against them is to... Be harsh..."

I'm oversimplifying things, but it makes sense in my mind.

"I'm sorry your life has had such pain in it, Iris."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter throws his hands up and a beam of blue light lances forwards. The blast knocks the missles and the bullets away as if it were a solid force.

[Moira]

"I'll get you the olives right now if it is that important."

I run out the door to the nearest store and come back about 15 minutes later with some olives for Fascia.

[Hatake Kakashi]

"d**n it Moria," Kakashi appears in another puff of smoke. "You could have knocked or something."

[Genovia]

"They must really need help if they hired you back, Kith."
I enter his office and sit down before his desk, kicking my dirty boots up onto his well organized desk.
"Do you have any missions for me?"

[Moira]

"Ah well, we're all friends. I made myself comfortable until you guys woke up. Hey, and I even brought a gift. So why complain?"

[Hatake Kakashi]

"Normally I wouldn't mind but did you have to break a window? I rent this place. Just... nevermind. And keep the music down, you'll scare the baby."

[Moira]

"I didn't break the window, I just broke the screen and was able to slide the window open. I can replace the screen. Oh, and I heard that babies like music. It makes their minds grow or something."

[Hatake Kakashi]

"Oh. Well, that's alright then. Quiet music does, yes but not Iron Maiden turned up loud enough to break the stereo."

Kakashi sighs. "Well, what's a little misunderstanding between friends. Care for some breakfast?"

[Raine]

Raine was standing a few feet away from Tristen when the flash grenade exploded.She was flung from her feet to the ground.She opened her eyes and saw that Gunnar escaped and Tristen was hurled backwords by the blast.
She waited until Tristen left before getting to her feet with the help of her croutches and she waslked to the nearest teleporter.She got in and Took the teleporter to the one nearest to the rebel base in Helsinki.
It was a nice but partly cloudy outside when Raine stepped out of the booth.
She sighed and rested against a wall while she lit a cigarette and put it between her lips.

[Iris Faust]

Iris smiled and shook her head.
"No you said it yourself, Youki, life is full of pain. I just have to learn to accept it, and get use to it. It will never go away."
Turning her head she looked him in the eye. "I understand."

[Moira]

"Iron Maiden will make Illidan grow up tough and mean."

I make a muscle.

"Huwaa! Just like that!"

"Okay, breakfast sounds good. Yeah, and if you two start working again and need some alone time, you can ask me to be a sitter. I don't mind."

[Krupskaya]

I recieve a message that Valkoinen Joki is going to be working for me at the Ministry of Eduction. This is great because I don't have any staff there and I really need help.
I wait in my office hoping that Valkoinen stops by today.

[Hoshi]

While searching for Riku, I decide to sleep on a hill. I lay on the hill and look up at the stars. It's such a pretty night. Looking out at the night sky reminds me that my problems don't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

[Fenitchka]

I go to classes and send Kolya to daycare. I think I will visit Che again since I didn't get to talk to him much yesterday.
I take the train to Helsinki and go to the apartment that teacher lives at and where I saw him last time.
"Hello, is Che home?"
