Akka smiles back. My love, you won't have to kill me. I'd honor myself, as your wife, to die beside you. Ukko... how did you come to these concludions? Why have you decided to rid them of us?

"Then we will die together. And I came to these conclusions since over the years I have seen humans in conflict over religion and interpretations of god. I have seen the gods themselves at war many times. We are as imperfect as mortals and have no right to the respect that they give us. No one should be worshiped. All beings in the universe are equal. The gods have failed to see this."

Seeing that Sephos is interested in talking, and Bassarov's desire that I make more friends compells me to talk to her. I sit down and light a cigarette first, mostly to stall for time. "What is there to tell? I'm Bassarov's protector, friend and lover, I lead the Helsinki Rebels on non-political matters and I have some mechanical talents." I state.
(OOC I am cooking my "lunch" right now, so I may be somewhat slow on responses)

Yes, some of the gods are very petty. But... I desire to be human, Ukko. Dying doesn't hurt me at all but... I want to experience what they experience. I want to feel humanly pain. I've always wanted to grow old with you and die in the same bed with grandchildren...I've always envied the humans for what they have and take for granted...

"What makes me happy?"
Garret thinks for a moment. "Lots of things make me happy. You, helping people, music, politics, a nice day, being with friends, finding a good restaurant, sex, um...photography." He can't think of anything besides those things.
"What makes you happy?" He kisses her shoulder and takes her back to their room. It is nice to just talk and be intimate.

I munch on my poptart, enjoying the sweet, chocolatey taste.
"There has to be more to you than just that. You must have experienced a lot in life already, what with being a rebel leader."
I breath in the acrid smell of her burning cigarette which is poised in between two delicate fingers. Bassarov is one lucky man.

"If I could make us mortal I would. I do not understand love. I understand only my goals and what needs to be done. But after the revolution against the gods. After the world is atheistic, maybe I could become human and could be with you and I would understand all those things that I never did in my long immortal life."

"Sure, if you ever get bored or lonely, come and visit me in Helsinki." Ludda waves and teleports back to Helsinki and goes to his room at the rebel base.

Laying herself on the bed Linnea thinks. "Painting, art, freedom, children...You." she turns her head to him and kisses his jaw. "I love you." She put a hand on his chest and traced random figures on his skin. "Being with you makes me happy Garret. And what makes you happy makes me happy."

Then why do I understand it so well? I feel this ever burning love for you and only you. Sure, I love other things as well but nothing compares to you.

"Oh well, um..." Andrew stammers.
Then, suddenly, his voice and his posture change. His lips part...
"A council of twelve, and a mortal man to weild it, to turn vanity to war."
"Um... not that it has to be a man or anything, and not that I am biased against non-humans, since I'm half human and stuff... well, you know that already but.... yeah. It could be a woman too. Women can do everything guys can do, of course. Well, not everything. There are some biological functions that are different I guess but.... well, you get the point."

Ruth had been wandering around for awhile since parting from her new friends Grant and Linnea. She was looking forward to meeting more of the people that they knew, and especially some of the Christians. For most of her life, she had felt like she had no one that believed as she did, but now things were starting to change.
As she wandered, she hummed a little song that she had on her mind. She often liked to hum or sing, though very seldom did it when others were around. Instead, she took opportunities like this to do so, times when she was just walking out by herself, just her and God.
She stopped walking for a moment, feeling something inside of her. She had been having these feelings lately, as if something was directing her to talk to certain people. She felt as though she could see into them and know what they believed. It sounded so silly, but that is what she felt. And now, that same feeling came over her. She was positive that there was a fellow believer nearby, and that she knew exactly where he was.
She decided to follow the impulse and walked in the direction of the feeling. Soon, she saw a man. She walked up to him, introducing herself.
"Hello. I was just walking along and... I saw you and thought I'd say hello. My name's Ruth."

"I don't know why you love me. I am something impossible to love, but at least you understand me, that is something far better than most. The other gods hate me. They don't understand that I actually care a great deal about humanity. They don't see that we are out of date and that our very existance is a burdon on mortalkind."
Ukko leans back into his desk and looks at Akka. His expression is enigmatic. He looks at her trying to understand why anyone would be devoted to him for so many years. He considers himself the most unemotional being in the universe.
"You should find a mortal to keep you company. I am too indifferent. You must get lonely."

"Hello," Gunnar had just gotten off of work and was wondering around the city, he normaly didn't speak to people these days, he never knew who the next RI agent would be, he'd died his hair white, but he wasn't sure if that would help any. Still though, she seemed nice enough, "what's the news?"
