Post by Peter "The Owl" on Jan 22, 2005 1:22:32 GMT -5
"Your blinded by your own emotions." Peter reaches up and taps his glasses, activating the tracking program, following the android's pathway through reality. "I have no need to justify my past actions to you. If you want to make someone feel guilty then you must talk to Peter. I am the Owl. Your guilt is no use." The tracking is slow. The trail is dying. "Come to Lapland sometime in a few days. I am sure Peter would be sad and beg forgiveness of you, if that's what you want."

"I know what you are, and 'Peter' doesn't need to apologize to me," she states.
"Following the android would be a waste of energy. It will come back. All you need is a carrot on a string, the carrot being whatever high profile rebel you can get your hands on."
Raz pauses.
"My emotions do not impair my ability to see, or deal with a situation. I believe your lack of empathy blinds you in more ways than you will ever know."
"Lo tirtsa, Peter the Owl. Laila tov."
She cloaks, and begins to walk to the nearest teleportation booth.
((Goodnight
Oh yeah, and 'lo tirtsa' is the transliteration of the Hebrew commandment, 'you shall not murder'. 'laila tov' means good night.))

The Owl supposed Raz thought she was funny. He finishes the tracking of the movement through space. Too close to one of the ministries. Raz's words mean nothing to him. He is sure that Peter will feel horrible when he changes back but that was his problem. The thought rings odd, and the Owl makes a note that his personality and Peter's seem to be seperating from one another. Something worth studying. For now, he is done. He opens a portal and heads back to Lapland.

"When are we leaving for that house in France, Zinn?" Antero asks almost politely. He looks at the other anarchists and back to Zinn. He fixes his eyes on her, not in his normal uncomfortable way, but flatly.

Bassarov helps Freakboy into a spare room and helps him lay down in a bed. Maybe he can just rest off shock or fear. Bassarov leaves the door open a crack and walks back out to the living room. "Poor guy, well, he is the last person to stay knocked down by things." He remarks to Zero.

Post by Soren on Jan 22, 2005 16:34:39 GMT -5
Dariya's snide remarks can not be tuned out by Soren. He listens and feels an terrible anxiety and guilt over trusting Satsujin. His stomach is a knot. He tries to pretend that it doesn't bother him. He tries to be cool and above this.
He argues with himself that this world isn't so grandly important and that everyone is just over reacting.
The greatest revolution in the universe will be its destruction.
But he is not entirely detached from all desire for something better. He doesn't simply desire destruction for destruction's sake. Why destroy something unless there is revelation of the potential for a new kind of creation? A creation based not off of lies and delusions, but logic.
Even logic has its own governing rules and requires faith. It is an invention of humans. Philosophy is no more useful than painting.
Soren paces while the others fights. He strives for some kind of understanding that he doesn't have. His mind rolls over this gap in this thoughts again and again, trying to figure out what fits inside.

Xavier waits patiently for Hope to return. When she does he decides that maybe he could call a meeting with just her and him. It doesn't appear that anyone else is going to show up at Daniel's house. "Hey Hope, let's get do some organizational planning." He suggests to her.

Elijah observes the fight between Tensuo and Satsujin. Others are pitching in as well, but no one seems to be making any headway towards defeating him. He sighs and leans back on his heels. His entire posture seems bent away from the fight, but not in a cowardly way. Instead, he is trying to get a wider perspective of the fight and how Satsujin might be defeated.

Post by Despair on Jan 22, 2005 16:47:00 GMT -5
Despair finds Erika in Micha's apartment, but for some odd reason, he no longer feels even the slightest twinge of jealousy. Maybe the alterations at the Ministry of Technology have finally taken full effect. He can no longer feel any desire but the desire to serve Red Infinity.
He enters the room and looks at Erika as though she is a part of the furnishings. In her, he sees nothing desireable, just as when he looks out at the world, all is colourless and meaningless, but that directly related to Red Infinity.
Even this duty to Red Infinity is a joyless one. Duty is just a requirement in his life, like the blandest food. It has nutritional value, but offers no enjoyment.
"We should see Iris again. We should make sure she is doing well." He says to Erika in an emotionless tone.

Post by Kaschei on Jan 22, 2005 16:54:09 GMT -5
Kaschei wakes early and spends the better half of the day reviewing spells. He scolds himself for neglecting his magical studies. When he is done, he heads up to his office to review what has been transpiring in the Ministry of Terror. Kith is back, and though his annoys him, he decides not to go to Kith's office and taunt him. This would be a waste of time and really he doesn't care about the demi god elf enough to squander part of his day on him. He is also aware that two rebels are trying to escape. Rather than make an appearance, he decides to watch Kaieka through his crystal ball and see how she handles things. He has not talked to her for a while and is well aware that she is avoiding him. He doesn't feel heartbroken over this, since those kinds of emotions are beneath him. Instead, he feels a slight annoyance that she would take no interest in someone as superior to the rest of humanity as him. Obviously she has no taste.

Post by Ukko on Jan 22, 2005 17:08:05 GMT -5
Ukko sits in his office observing the world. He is glad that Zex has for the moment, given up on his attempt to bring the four soul eggs to Kipumaki. He is no longer worried about that.
With nothing else to worry him, he starts to think about Akka. He wonders why she bothered to return to the world. He has always been cold and distant towards her. It is not that he doesn't care about her, but, more or less that he is always too busy schemeing and watching. A relationship or love is not very high on his list of priorities. However, she is his wife and he would like to understand this woman.
He has been married to her for millions of years, but, always apart, never taking the time to get to know her or to explore any feelings that may exist between them.
With nothing else to do, he contacts Akka and invites her to his office.
(To Akka)

Post by Carter O'Neil on Jan 22, 2005 17:14:16 GMT -5
Carter hears that the rebels invited Eternal Light to check out something related to a demon. This is not his specialty at all, and talking to the others, it doesn't seem like they will be much help either.
"Well, what a great religious bunch we are when no one among us knows anything about demons." He says to the others.

After many weeks away, Rasputin returns to the underground lair of the Bloodspeakers. He enters and starts searching to Kaitalish to see if anything needs to be done. For some reason, the headquarters seem empty. He wonders what happened to all of the members.

Bassarov goes to the kitchen in search of something to eat. He finds a fudge poptart and returns to Zero. "Maybe this has to do with Iris, he mentioned that he had feelings for her."
