Chaya finally gets bored waiting around. He is finding that he is less patient in this young body than he was when he was just a taint. He leaves the house and goes for a walk, hoping that maybe he will see Raz somewhere around the neighborhood.
"I wish..I wish I understood things."
He says to himself as he walks slowly past a park where children are playing.

"This was fun, but I'm getting tired. I think I'm going to call it a day." Garret says to those in Bassarov's apartment. He turns to Linnea.
"I am heading back to our apartment, I'll see you later."
He gives her a kiss and leaves.

Raz rushes out of the house. Several worst case scenarios run through her mind. She decides that she should get some help.
She runs outside, at speeds most humans could not achieve in cars.

Kaschei learns that Bjork was executed and, as usual when he learns that someone has died, is pleased. Her remains are sent to the mass grave where all bodies from the Ministry of Terror are sent.
When this is done, he returns to his study to read over some spells.

Carter glances up from the book he was reading when Peter enters the room. He had been listening to the different members of the Eternal Light talking amongst themselves, so he has an idea of what they wanted Peter for.
"Well, if it isn't Peter the Owl, how do you do? I am Carter O'neil." He gets out of his seat and shakes Peter's hand.
"We were all talking about how nice it would be if you became a member of the Eternal light. We just think you do a good job protecting us and all and we wanted to make things official."

"Anyway, could you come with me to the anarchist base? We have a member who needs psychological assistance... Antero Black. He..." Zinn steadies herself as a wave of nausea washes over her.
"He raped and beat a woman almost to death, with another member, Sasha Kropotkin... Sasha appears to have committed suicide. Black has a history of violent behavior. Also, there are some things I would like to talk to you about... I'm sure we could all benefit from some counciling."

As Chaya walks alone down the street something passes by very quickly. He is not sure what it is, so he keeps on walking. He has a lot to learn about the world. It all seems big and scary, even if he is a taint.

"You can extract insanity? That sounds implausible. Personally, I don't believe the human mind is fragmented enough to extract specific aspects. I mean, if it was really that easy then Red Infinity would just load up a bunch of telepaths in aeroplanes, and erase everyone's opposition to the government or some rubbish like that."

Rasputin recieved the message sent to the Bloodspeakers to destroy the Green Party base and attack their members.
"I can take care of this."
Rasputin doesn't waste a moment and teleports to the forest near Tampere where the Green Party is based. He trudges through the brush towards their HQ.

"Trust me, he can do it... he went into my head once before." Freak Boy said, drinking another Red Bull. "Fine, I'll lie down and listen to some music."
Freak Boy lays down and puts on some headphones. He turns on his CD player and, even with the headphones on, the loud punk rock music is audible. He closes his eyes and begins relaxing, ocasionally drinking more Red Bull.

Kautsky sends his pet crow to attend the meeting of democratic socialists. Since that movement has been so dead, he knows that some present will be wavering between revolution and democratic transition.
The crow flies swiftly and arrives at the meeting a 15 minutes late. It perches on the sill of an open window and observes the meeting of socialists.
