I go to my room after I train and take a long shower to wash off the sweat. I send a message to Kaschei that the mission was completed, and that if I am needed for anything else I will be in my room resting.

"Yes, I've seen the mural but I... I don't know what to say. I'm speechless--flattered." Freak Boy said in that surprised tone. "I never thought of myself as important enough to be included in that mural."

"Oh, not much, frauline. Possibly some dictation, since I can no longer write. I'm going to teach you how to maintain the machinery here and keep it operational, since I can only cover programming errors, etcetera, etcetera.
"But that's to be saved for later. For now we shall just enjoy each others company." he said with a smile.

"Are you serious? Yes you are. As a rebel I think you are one of the most involved ones. You give so much to the movement. And you are also an inspiration in yourself. You inspire me." Linnea smiled at him, in almost as much surprise as he was.

"I... I never knew." he said honestly. He returned the smile.
"Thank you, I'm honored."

"Okay. It is nice to be able to talk to someone else who was around in the 1930s. Everything is so... different nowadays."

"Ah! Mein liebergott, I know what you mean. All these new electric ice boxes and fancy dial turn stoves... It's all so much more complex.
"I miss the simpler days of '33... I still had my body, I had my home in Berlin... ah, good times." he said nastalgiacly.

"Now I don't think you want me to draw the face of shock. So tell me a little about yourself and what you want to accomplish with the movement. Or just anything. It all helps with the outcome."

"Yes, it was nice. I wish I could make sense of this world... As it is I have a hard enough time understanding my own children, let alone the world."

"Right, right, of course." Freak Boy said, sitting down. "Well... I consider myself to be intelligent, although Zinn might disagree with that statement. I would willingly admit to being, sarcastic, jaded and cynical....
"I like to write. Any of this helping?"

"Oh, what I would have given to have children... my wife always wanted them, but I was far too busy working in Berlin. Now I wish I had taken the time to...
"Tell me, Erika... does Zwei still... is Zwei still in your system?" he asked in a concerned voice.

I listen to her talk about her life. It is a lot more interesting than mine. I never got an award for anything.
"I'll still come along. I am not the most diplomatic person in the world, so I'll just shut up while you're talking to Violet."
She is a reformist, but nice enough. Feminists have been fighting over the issues forever, so I won't bicker with her about my thoughts on revolution.
"You were saying the other day that there aren't many moderates around. You're right. There are a lot of far left people or far right people. Not much in between. When people are polarized like that...well, it's just a sign of the times..."

"Usually I write books and do my radio show, which most rebels seem to like. But, I do what's needed. Rescue missions, cooking, and data collection. I have spyware in some computers over at RI, so I know what they're doing until they delete the spyware. I intercept e-mails from them though, so I've managed to stay pretty level with what's going on....
"Like I said, all in all it's not that much, considering all that Mischa, Zero and Bassarov do."
