If there is nothing wrong with his programming, Despair concludes that whatever is wrong with him is not something Red Infinity did to him. It is...something in his own mind.

"Ah, I lived in Berlin my entire life." Herman said, sipping the beer. It was genuine! Not watered down like the crappy imports he recieved in that gift basket a few weeks ago - authentic German beer! His eyes lit up and he smiled, clearly pleased.
"Vhere did you manage to get ahold of zhis?" he asked, the beer emerging on a different tray. "Zhe beer, zhat is."

"At the Minister's store... IT cost a lot..." I listen to what Despair says, and my eyes instantly water up. Maybe there's something of the old Despair left after all... Silently I wrap my arms around him and hold him tightly.

Pakkanen sees that Keitoleinen created a new list of missions. He decides to take the mission to kill the woman named Indira. He hasn't killed anyone for a long time and he feels he has to prove something to Hedeon. He wears many layers of warm clothes and heads to Lapland to kill Indira.

Herman smiles... young love. Well, technically Erika was not young and Despair wasn't all that young either, but considering that Herman not only was older, but looked and felt older than both of them combined, it looked like young love to him.
He decided to give them a moment of privacy. His pedastal faced the other way and he closed his eyes, entering rest mode for a few moments.

(I'm just going to move you Linnea, if you don't want to come along, then you can post that you stayed back)
Garret locates Linnea and goes to the base with her. The couple had been asked to help Sayuka rescue Alister and Freakboy. He meets Ludda down at the base and finds that Ludda also wants to help out.
"I'm sure with everyone working together we should be able to get Freakboy and Alister out of there."

Xavier listens to Calithin and Hope speak. The meeting has been interesting so far and he does enjoy talking about politics.
"So we can agree that mass action isn't needed and that the focus should be overthrowing Red Infinity and setting up a provisional government representing both capitalist and socialist interests. The next step would be to plan elections and let people decide on their own government...except Calithin doesn't think the people should have a say. If you don't think that the people should have a vote, then what do you propose..for after the revolution?" Xavier asks Calithin.

Herman opens his eyes, the Ministry's defense systems showing him that Despair left. The pedastal Herman is on turns around and he is once again facing Erika.
"Mein frauline... vhy zhe long face?" Herman asks, sipping his beer.
