A Radical Life

[Virgil- The Prophet]

The grinding of Virgil's teeth can be heard, even over the distance between him and the women. He was loth to leave a hunt... but this prey was not worth threatening the truce over.

After a moment Virgil straightens, making a noise much like a dog that was finished its growling and decided not to attack. He raises a hand, pointing his index finger at Moria. "I'll remember you later, she-elf."

With that, he turns and walks away, vanishing.

[Steve Fox]

Steve tosses away his cigarette butt, the yellow piece landing on the ground besides a badly beaten man. "Y'e should pick y'er mark better, kid. Nice right hook though."

Steve walks out of the alley and down the street, towards the train station. His breath makes a fog before him as he walks, absorded in this thoughts.

[Sephos]

He leaves, and I feel a rush of relief, but know only too well that now my protector will become my antagonist. I have my gun pointed squarely at her chest, filled as full as it can go with ammo.

"I did not choose this life." I tell her.

"My father, the bastard, raped my mother, and that is the only reason why you now seek to do me harm. I hold no love for religion or the fools that chase after it. Why cause me more pain than this life has already doled out to me?"

[Surma]

Surma touched Zex and teleported to the realm of souls. He placed his hand to his side and looked at the souls around them celebrating. He fixed his eyes at Zex and smiled.

"Just tell me the names of your friends, and leave everything else to me."

[Moira]

I listen to her story and actually feel for the woman.

"The same story goes for me. That's why I am half dark elf and half human. But, I've got orders. I know you're an atheist and all, I saw that in the file. Keitoleinen will take that into account."

Usually I am not nice to people, especially those I will capture. But, like she said, she can't help who she is.

"I'm taking you with me."
I cut my arm.

"But if you are not released by the time this heals, I swear on my elven blood I will talk to my superiors to get you out of there."

I step towards her and teleport us both to the League of the Godless. I put her in a cell, but make sure it is one of the nicer cleaner ones. That is all I can do. I am not a bad woman, just doing my job.

"Just got to get the stench of religion out of this world."

I leave her and go to my quarters. I think of Virgil and how he threatened me. Ah, well, at least he's gone.

BB and I enter the International HQ with some reluctance. It is an intimidating place. We stand in line to talk to the clerk at the front office.

I talk to the clerk and ask him if we can see Lady Violet. Of course, we are asked our rank within Red Infinity and I have to explain that we are emisaries representing the feminist organization, The Last Wave.

Things become a little stressed after that, and he doesn't look like he wants much to do with us. He tells us that he will send a message to Violet tomorrow and that if she has time, she will see us then.

This stinks.

In the meantime, we are told that we can wait in the lobby for her, but must endure a security check.

They take us into seperate rooms and do a full body search, running us through metal detectors and all that.

Finally we are allowed back into the lobby but it looks like we have a long wait ahead of us.

"It looks like all we can do is wait unless...you have some friends in high places who can pull strings for us."

I go shopping, but even this is kind of boring. I change into my nice new outfit but wonder if I should be doing something more.

Where do I go now?

I just wander around Copenhagen looking for something to do or someone to talk to. There must be some poor sap whose beliefs I can smash.

I know, you're all hiding from me.

I keep walking.

Capital City has been dead ever since the Capitalists left. I teleport to Helsinki to see if there are any rebels there who might be seduced into some time with the ASS.

I need to capture at least one rebel. I don't want to be purged

I head down the street pretending to be a prostitute, which I was or sort of am.

[Calithin]

"My guilt is far more complicated than that of others Hope."

*I move away from her and sit down in one of the chairs at the end of the table leaning back so that only two of the chair legs are actually on the ground and listen to Xavier and Philippe.*

"I agree... I think a revolution is called for. Simply reforming the system will only do so much. You can take down as many dictators as you like there will always be more in waiting, but with a revolution it keeps them at bay much longer."

[Zex]

"my friends are genki, ran, mikomi...and i think that is about it." i say to surma.

"this is really nice that you are doing this!"

"So then we all agree in revolution to over throw Red Infinity, but, I personally don't feel it has to come from "the masses." We need change sooner than that, and, I think as long as we give people a vote after a change in government, there is nothing wrong with taking matters into our own hands."

[Freak Boy]

Freak Boy sighed and pulled out a harmonica, seemingly from nowhere. He thought for a few seconds then began playing a blusier version of Don't Cry For Me Argentina.

[Calithin]

"But the people have been controlled for so long don't you think they might choose the same type of opressive leaders that they have now? There are plenty of little Lin-Sat's running around all over Red Infinity gnawing at the chance to step up."

[Cephrien]

"Hey sweet stuff..." Came a voice from behind Serena. A dark figure leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. He smirked as he opened his resting eyes and got off the wall. He strolled out of the shadows and slipped his hands into his pockets.
It was just Ceph.. pretending..
"..Long time no see, Serena..." He said, calmly.

"People have to be given an option. The interim government should be multi party and elections should be fair. If people want to elect a communist gov't they can, but I think a step in the right direction would be giving them that option. We can't force our will on them..."
