"So be it." I say, then mouth "And may God have mercy on your soul." I press the button, allowing the green, corrosive gas to flood into the chamber.

I give him a curious look. "What?"

Rasputin smiles as the gas begins to fill the room. The last thing he wonders is if the man believed in God. He thought he heard something...the mention of God, and that gives him quick peace before he is put to his eternal rest.

I watch silently as the gas liquifies the man's flesh, leaving only a pitted skeleton behind. The liquified flesh is washed away with the spent gas, and the skeleton is removed. As soon as the camera shuts down I say "This one deserves a proper burial. Deal with it."

I walk out of my office and see Bassarov waiting in the metro station. "Hello lubimi. How are you feeling today?" I ask as I sit down beside him.

Herman closed his eyes and a holographic head of Herman appeared in the center of a hallway.

"I'm doing just fine. Amy Smith returned and we also have Donald Morton staying here. He was the Minister of War, but left Red Infinity because they killed a woman he loved." Bassarov explains.

The hologram head led Erika down the hall to a door a few feet from the control room of the Ministry. (the room where Herman's head resides.)
"Zhis is your room, Erika." the door slides Star Trek style to reveal a room that seems to be right out of 1935. "You like?"

"The Minister of War defected? Man, that's sure good news for us! You have any idea how much that man knows?" I almost forget about Amy for the moment, simply the fact that a MINISTER of Red Infinity defected, and to us on top of that, is rather extraordinary.

I power back up and run my self-diagnostics. Everything is working allright, and I start to dress myself.
[Erika] "Yes, it looks familiar." It is small, and I will have to aquire a personal kitchen, but neither is that big of a concern.

"It really is great news for us. I heard that Red Infinity is conducting another large purge. But I also heard that they have been harder on rebels and executing them now. We will have to be extra careful in the coming weeks." Bassarov cautions.

"I figured you could use a reminder of zhe fazherland." Herman's hologram said with a smile. "Goodnight, Erika."
And with that, the hologram faded out and soon the sound of snoring and bubbling water emitted from the control room.
