Loyalties on Trial

[Raz Nili Ze'ev]

Raz runs back to her apartment building, recieves orders and directions from a superior officer, and runs to find Chaya. It takes a suprisingly long time to find a little boy who is alone in Capital City. Since Capital City seems to be attacked a lot, there are a lot of orphans. Eventually, she finds Chaya.

"Shalom!" She says quickly. She is is out of breath, despite her enhancements. She catches it more quickly that an ordinary person would though.

"Chaya, I need your help. I am very sorry to impose, but my friend and comrade Ezra Weil has been arrested by The League of the Godless. We have to get rescue him...!"

She does not actually know that Ezra is there. However, that is her guess. Her enhancements have a frequency that can get through the static at the Ministry of Terror, but The League of the Godless is far better adapted to Hagana technology. Since she cannot reach him, that is her best guess.

[Chaya]

"Raz..I just met with a ghost. Her name is Simona...she wanted to talk to you." Chaya says. He is glad that Raz is there but concerned about her friend.

[Freak Boy]

Freak Boy reached to grab his soda. Before touching his soda, he felt a letter propped up against it that wasn't there before. He quirked a brow before seeing it was from Kautsky.

"You do work fast my friend..."

Kautsky,

Thanks for the encouragment. Always good to know you have friends - that's something I need now. Unfortunately your Democratic Socialists seem to want to avoid me, since I am a rather high profile rebel. I get the direct impression I make Hope 98's skin crawl, Daniel doesn't want me in his apartment, and I got funny looks from most of them.

Funny, that was the first time I met them too. Oh well, I just hope you're right and they'll accept me. Thanks again.

[Raz Nili Ze'ev]

"Simona Weil? Oy. She is a dybbuk now? Of course I will speak with her, but only after I rescue Ezra. The needs of the living outweigh the needs of the dead."

Raz pauses.

"Chaya, how are you in combat?"

[Chaya]

"This body is new to me but I am willing to try and fight." Chaya says shyly. He looks at his feet again. "I think I have some taint powers still."

[Ezra Weil]

Ezra wakes up hours after being tortured by Hedeon. He doesn't even try to move since he is sore and his body is severely marked by the tortures.
He closes his eyes and tries to get a little more rest before he is tortured again.

[Despair]

Despair approaches Oneiroi slowly. He is not aware that this man is both a Psychologist and a religious rebel.
"The League of the Godless has taken an interest in you."
Despair takes odd jobs, but this is his first time working for the League.

[Raz Nili Ze'ev]

"OK. Lets go ask our French friends for help. I think a joint mission would help reinforce our new alliance," Raz says absently. "We are allies with a French nationalist group called La Resistance," she explains.

[Chaya]

"Okay, we can ask them for help! Are the French really powerful like the people at Hagana?" Chaya asks cheerfully. He is enthused by learning more about the world.

[Harry Bergstrom]

Harry was thinking, feeling anxious about his mother's... encouraging words.

"I'm funny, I'm telling you I can be a comedian! It's what I was born to do!" Harold said, feeling offended at his mother's laughter when he said what he wanted to be when they gained Israel.

"Harry, I love you, but the only thing funny about you is your face." Barb said in a pseudo-friendly tone.

He sighed, lost in thought before going to the local deli and buying himself a poppy seed bagel with lox spread.

[Iris Faust]

Iris stared at Fen for a moment.
"Servent?" Iris wasnt sure what to say. "I...don't need a servent. I'm fine on my own."
She was left very speechless.
"Im sorry I didn't mean to offend you but I really do not like the concept of serventry... If you want to be like a house maid though I wouldn't mind."
Iris quickly changed her mind when she saw the decication of this womans face.

[Raz Nili Ze'ev]

"They don't have as many resources or as much technology as we do, but we need all of the help we can get. It isn't fair to say that some nations are better than others. That is what causes problems between nations in the first place," Raz says evasively.

[Chaya]

Chaya nods his head. He is naive to pretty much...everything. His only life experience is tainting people and causing suffering.
"Do you know where we can find La Resitance? We should hurry. What do you think will happen to your friend? Will he be okay?"

[Raz Nili Ze'ev]

Raz has to remind herself that despite the appearance, she is not talking to a little boy. She doesn't have to gloss anything over.

"La Resistance is located in Paris. As for Ezra... he probably won't be OK," Raz admits. "Red Infinity has a policy of torturing religious rebels in especially cruel ways..." she thinks of the scars on Ezra's chest and shudders inwardly. And what they did to him last time...

Raz wonders if it is actually a sin to kill that vampiric Ministry of Terror rapist pregnant dog.

She opens up a 'bridge'.

"Hold my hand while we go through or you'll get lost."

[Chaya]

"If I knew the names of some...I could speak to them. I can speak to the spirit's of people..." Chaya says as he enters the portal with Raz. He takes hold of her hand lightly. He feels ashamed that he doesn't know more about the world, but as a taint, it was never a concern.
