Pakkanen goes to Hedeon's room and enters quietly, bowing his head submissively. He had not seen Hedeon for a few days and wanted to check up on him.
"Hello Hedeon, I killed a religions rebel the other day. What have you been up to?" He asks shyly.
He walks slowly and takes a seat beside Hedeon's bed.

"Only the Eternal Light. I am a pacifist but not religious. I believe in religious freedom, which is why I am here. I actually grew up in Beijing and my parents are party members." I explain to him.
"Tell me about yourself."

Chaya stands quietly behind Raz. He is sometimes intimidated by her, since she stands so tall and her voice is so strong. He looks up at this man named Xavier and feels bad that Red Infinity, a group that he served when under the control of Roland, does such horrible things to people. Despite this reaction, he does not go as far to think that Red infinity is something bad or something that needs to change.

"Well, I grew up in Capital City... Jewish neighborhood. Religious freedom was always a little easier there. Red Infinity didn't have as much of a stranglehold in North America as it did everywhere else. I joined the Hagana after High School... that was about... oooh... 3, 4 years ago?
"Anyway, yeah. So I joined the Hagana and am currently-well, I don't have ONE job. I'm a substitute teacher every now and then, a Historian... but usually I'm a comedian in night clubs." he says, eating some more porage.

I stop by my apartment to pick up some ammunition, and when I open the door I am greeted by a smell like vomit and fuel-grade ethyl alcohol. I look around some more and find some of Sephos' clothes and a bloodied towel. I walk back out of the apartment and call Bassarov on my cellphone.
"Hey Valodya, I think Sephos made it out on her own. She stopped by my apartment last night. I think she was on a drinking binge and she did have some minor bleeding, want me to try to track her down?"

"I have no profession. I was a student in Beijing, but never completed my studies due to imprisonment for student agitation."
I take a bite of my cereal.
"A comedian? So you are a humorous person?" I ask as though I have never laughed in my life.

"Sure, I'm a little worried about her. I hope she is okay from her ordeal at the League of the Godless." Bassarov replies.

"Yeah... Hey is everything allright over your way?" I ask. I saw the head and knew who it was, and am not sure how Bassarov is taking it.

"I like to think I am." he said with a smirk. "I've kept myself sane this long by joking around..."

"I don't laugh very much. Maybe sometime I will see you do a show. But I can not promise I will laugh."

"I'm... sorry to hear that." he said, taking another bite of porage. "I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my sense of humor... hell, I'd probably end up in a small padded room with a straight-jacket."

"I am fine." Bassarov replies simply. He was not as angry as Mischa. He mostly is shocked, disappointed, and disturbed. "I would rather not talk about it." He stands up and dips his hands into the pockets of his black jacket.

I once again feel as though I am not very good at making conversation.
"Is the porridge good?"

Damascus nods, gets up, feels the urge to say something to the feminists, doesn't, and leaves. What was there to say to rebels anyway? To many other operatives had rebel friends or relations. He wondered why the government didn't do something about it. Well, the next time he caught an operative with a rebel for purposes other than work, he'd teach them both a lesson in what such a relationship meant. Red Infinity could not tolerate fraternizing with the enemy. He walked outside and changed, waiting for her to get on and get comfortable before taking off.

After Damascus transforms, I climb onto his back and hang onto him tightly.
"We are in no rush to get back, so you can fly slower this time. Thanks for coming along with me. I think the meeting went well."
