"Jesus Christ Sakari, I told you that there aint no way I coulda come up with that kinda money..." 'Slick Jimmy' responds with a sick desperation in his voice.
"Yes, but there is something else you can do for us. We need a van, and please, make sure it's 'clean'." I reply, referring to the van both being physically clean, and legal. "My friend here just got bit in the ass by Red Infinity, and had some of his assets seized, including his car. I'm going to help him haul the rest of his belongings from a warehouse. Oh, and we're going to keep it too." I say, smiling.
"Alright alright... Come." He says, waving his hand at Sakari and Antero. They follow him to the back, out there are several automobiles of all kinds, some look like they can run, and some don't. On the far edge are several vans.
"You can take a look around, and take what ever you want."
"Thank you Jimmy, your debt is now repaid." I reply pleasantly, and turn to Antero. "Let's have a look around now, shall we?"
Sakari feels a strange satisfaction having power over someone as undesirable as Jimmy.

I get Bassarov's message and immediately teleport to the house. Helene was one of the last people I had expected to die, and I am more than a little startled by it...
(misread your post, I'll say I telepathically sensed your distress)

Elijah goes to the sink and washes the blood off of himself. He washes his face and towels himself dry.
"There is a place I can take you, but no mortal has ever been here. I have a home in Taivas. Taivas is the Finnish version of Heaven. You would be safe there."

"Taivas? Wait... ok, I'm gonna act like I didn't hear that simply because denial is the only way I can keep sane. Just don't tell me where we're going and kindly avoid religous references." Freak Boy says, ever the atheist.

Antero spots a black van with tinted windows. It is a little rusty, but looks like a vehical fit for a group of anarchists. He wonders what kind of person drives a van with tinted windows. Certainly not a soccer mom.
"I like that one." Antero says as he points at the black van.

"Don't worry, I am an atheist as well. Just think that I am taking you to another dimension which happens to be more peaceful and pleasant than this one. You believe in other dimensions and universes, don't you? Just think of it like that."
Elijah worries that the demon will return.
"Hurry and pack what you need for the trip. The demon I fought may wake up soon."

After much searching I manage to find an unlogged, unmonitered computer terminal. I log into the rebel networks and post a message to Freak Boy...
Hello, this is Erika. I'm writing to let you know that my daughter is seeing a man who she calls Youki... I do not approve of this relationship as it is artificial. My personal feelings for you aside Iris was happy with you, I would much rather see her happy with you than with someone no doubt sent to control her. I just wanted to make my feelings on this subject clear... -Erika Faust

"Of course I believe in alternate dimensions - I'm the biggest paranormal fanatic you'll find."
Freak Boy begins packing his gear into his sack of crap when his computer starts beeping. He sighs and checks his mail, then sees the message from Erika. A tear comes to his eye and he quickly rids himself of it.
Erika, you don't know how much that means to me. I've been wracking my brain to try and find a way to see Iris, but so far I've only managed to see her--well, I'm not even sure it wasn't a dream it was such an odd way of contacting her. I visited her dream and I showed up as an astral projection.
If you can think of any way I could get in contact with Iris, please let me know. I'll keep in touch. --Freak Boy
He sends the message then puts up his laptop.
"Ok, let's go..."

Sakari checks the mileage on the van, and examines the inside. It looks pretty decent, and would most likely make it across the states. He looks back to see if Jimmy is still there. He's not.
I stand on the step, and look for the keys. They were in a hole in the seat, which looked like it came from a knife.
"We can't keep it here, I know of a place where we can hide this for a few days." I say in an almost secret agent voice.
The van starts up with no trouble, and we drive it a few miles away from the scrap yard, lock the doors, and take the booth back to the anarchist's house.
"No sweat, ey?"

Post by Valodya Bassarov on Feb 3, 2005 20:24:12 GMT -5
Bassarov carries her to her coffin and places her inside. He would say something like...oh well, at least she has her own coffin, but that would be insensitive. His emotions are so mixed up from everything that has been going on lately that he doesn't know how to react. He doesn't know how he feels. "Someone should contact Deetric and her family." Bassarov says unemotionally. He becomes emotionally numb when things are at their worst.

Elijah wastes no time and teleports Freakboy to his home in Taivas. "Here we are in a more pleasant dimension." Elijah's home is a tall creamy yellow house in the middle of a field of flowers. There is nothing for what appears to be miles and miles. Beside his home is a lake and a small patch of forest.
"Welcome to my home."

Antero notices Oneiroi outside of the base. "Who the hell is he? We better not be taking him on the trip or I'm not going."

I walk away from the terminal silently. As much as I don't like Freak Boy, since I consider him a sorcerer, I realize that my daughter doesn't agree with me. And it's her feelings that matter here.

I follow behind Vossya, and rest my hand on his back. He looks so numb...
"Hey... If it's all the same to you, I'd like to sing at the funeral."

Silently I wrap my arms around Bassarov to comfort him. "I'll take care of it. I'll also make burial arrangements should they be nessasary." I say softly.
