"I see, my apologies, Lady Violet." Stalin said.
"Let's see... What's a story of interest..." he asked himself, wanting to choose a story that would not make him seem... harsh or uncaring. This was hard to do, since most stories of interest involved him uncovering a plot to have him assassinated. Then he got an idea.
"The time I met with Roosevelt and Churchill to discuss our battle plan against the Nazis? Perhaps that would interest you?" he asked.

Stalin smiled. Now... where to begin.
"Let's see... we had the meeting in Teheran. It was rather cold out and getting there was a royal pain, as the State Committee of Defense said that flying from Moscow to Teheran would be risky, with the war in full sqing and the Germans still cin control of some Soviet Air Corridors. I remember, we went as far as Baka by train then proceeded to Iran by car. My car was escourted by two anti-aircraft guns on the back of flat bed trucks by the advice of the Politburo. Never knew what the Germans were up to, after all." he said, now entering full nostalgia mode.

"That all sounds very dangerous for you, please continue." I say, humoring the man. I sit down with some chamomile tea and give him my full attention.

"The road from Baku to Teheran was bearable enough, and very well guarded. Americans had used the road as a supply route to aid us with foodstuffs and supplies. It wasn't the trip I was worried about, but rather the bulldog - Winston Churchill." Stalin said. His name for Churchill was 'The Bulldog'.
"The whole journey there I was reading up on Roosevelt. I knew that I couldn't allow Churchill to spread his propaganda to Roosevelt, and I thought that maybe this Roosevelt might have been more prone to the left than most Americans, plus he'd make a powerful allie. If the President of the USA liked me then it was less likely that a war would break out at the end of WWII.
"We arrived in Iran with no close calls, although there was an ocasional German squad that would fly overhead. I arrived in a new uniform that I had sewn especially for this ocasion. Before the meeting I made sure that I looked my best, as you never get another chance for a first impression, as I'm sure you know. I trimmed my mustache and made sure that my posture was as straight as could be.
"I liked Roosevelt from first glance, probably because of his luminous eyes and thinning hair. His face reminded me of my catechism teacher at the seminary, whom all the students liked; it was just as kind and pleasent. The fact he was ill, with almost completely paralyzed legs, seemed to envoke some sympathy from me - though the meeting showed that it was not necessary, as what he lacked in strength in his legs he more than made up for in personality.
"I now recall someone else from my youth, an old man named Revaz, who sold cigarettes and matches who was also paralyzed. I often sat next to him on the sidewalk and talked of many things in my youth...
"Anyway, yes, Roosevelt aroused some sense of compassion from me, This trait was more than likely inherited from my mother, as much as I hate to admit it. I felt very comfortable with Roosevelt. He was animate,d irresistibly witty, even though the interpretation from Russian to English was necessary.
"I did my best to be charming, but I'm sure you know that you cannot get far on charm alone." Stalin said, taking another few fork fulls of rice.

I glance up at the time.
"Oh dear, I had no idea that it had gotten so late. It seems you will have to come by another night to complete your story. Goodnight, Stalin."
I clean the kitchen quickly then go to my room to get some rest. I didn't mean to be rude, but work comes so early in the morning. I'm sure he will understand that I meant it as no offense to him.

"Of course, goodnight Lady Violet." Stalin said, showing himself out and heading to his Dacha in Moscow. He moved some crap out of the way, clearing a small path, and making it to his bed to go to sleep.

Illidan searches Helsinki for the perfect dress for Krupskaya. Since they are well known party members, they get special access to goods that the rest of the public would not. He finds a leopard print dress, the boa, and the slippers after about a half a day of shopping.
"I should spiff myself up for this as well."
He goes to a hair salon and has his long brown hair cut shorter and dyed black. He always thought he would look good woth black hair.
"I bet Kaieka won't even recognise me."

"I've been reading Kropotkin." Antero announces as they are driving along in the van. He wants to prove himself to Zinn, less so to the others. Zinn doesn't trust him, but, he feels better equipt to argue with her now.

Soren realizes that he must have dozed off. He stares out of the window, and decides to tune out the anarchists around him. He is starting to wonder why he went on this little trip.
"I want to get a model trolley from San Francisco if we get that far." Soren says more to himself than the others.

Illidan drops the dress and accessories off at Krupskaya's office. He then teleports to the Ministry of Terror to where he was last with Kaieka.
"Kaieka, I really like my new job at the Ministry of Education. I think I am much better suited for it!" He says cheerfully.
"Oh, and this Friday night we are having this prom thing that Krupskaya wants to hold at the Ministry of Education. It is sort of a social for socialists."
"Normally I would not ask you to accompany me to anything like this since we are strictly friends and all, but I thought that it might be fun if you were there...with me...as friends...if that is okay with you."
"I also got a new hair cut. A new job calls for a new hair style!"

Bassarov wakes up and feels more sane than the night before. He is upset with what Sayuka said to him, but it is true. He goes to the living room and sees Zero, Andrew, and Mischa. "Hello everyone, sorry about that. I should be better now so don't worry about a thing." He isn't sure if he is better or not but the last thing that he wants is for people to worry about him.
