"It lead to some conflict, since none of the delegates were considered the legitimate representatives of the toppled nations. We actually only showed up to the emergency meeting to vote out the existance of the United Nations. Although we had superior numbers in the General Assembly the Security Council was unevenly split in favor of the capitalists. This was all a joke. We didn't actually care about such foolish capitalist internationalism....."

"As I said, mind altering or medicinal plants do not grow here. I am sure that is just a close relative found only in the heavens."

"You really ought to lighten up, Sayuka. At least that was the final meeting of the UN. It was symbolic. Trading failed capitalist internationalism for socialist internationalism.

"Man, this is some major BS." Freak Boy groaned. "Ok, so I hauled I disagree around on a wild goose chase looking for weed and hauling it back when you knew the whole time that there was none?! That's cold, dude..."

"Of course it was. The competition of free markets and pursuit of International Peace/Human Rights are incompatable. But let's stay on topic."

The heat is more than I expected and by the time we get back to the hotel I feel like I am half melted. My body must not be reacting to these warmer climates well. My arms and legs seem to stick together.
"I have to adjust my temperature control or something."
I wonder if Calithin ever gets annoyed by my android-ness. I think if I was not a machine, being with a machine would be a little odd.
"Does it ever bother you that I am actually a machine?"

"That was no lesson, that was a trick, and a mean one." Freak Boy said, taking all the pseudo-weed out of his sack and dumping it into a trash container.

"But you felt good and relaxed, didn't you? So if you could use the psuedo weed and feel the same what does it matter? It just goes to show the high is in side of you."
Yes, Elijah sounds corny, but he is a wholesome guy. He smiles brightly at Freakboy.

Coming back to the apartment reminds me of the conversations I used to have with Sasha and Antero. We used to sit on this old couch and talk about things. We would have nightly discussions and that is what built up the closeness between us.
If I listen carefully I can still hear them. Antero is on my left and Sasha on my right.
"You would think that the socialists would have learned by now that removing the economic differences between people is only part of the equation."
I say to them both.

Freak Boy looked at Elijah with the sourest of faces. He longed to pull a move from The Cask of Amantillado, but Elijah had the smiley face mixed with the natural friendlyness and the smile and the -- GARRRHH!!
Freak Boy sighed. "I can't stay mad at you for some reason..." no matter how hard I try

Antero half listens to Sakari and half drifts off to sleep. This time he dreams of a good time. He thinks of Sasha and Simona. The three of them are sitting together and talking. He is young. Maybe he is only 16 at this point. Thinking about it, his relationship with either Sasha or Simona would be sick by most people's standards. He was years younger than the both of them.
"When can we attack something again?"
He flops over the arm of the couch, writhing in his seat in boredom.
