"Yeah, life can throw you some real curve balls." Damascus rolled noodles around his fork and ate the forkfull. "But that's why we have other people." This was said with the noodle to one side of his mouth, so that his speech wouldn't be garbbled.
He swallowed. "For instance, I knew this girl named Serena. I first met her after an incident in Helsinki, this was way way back, back when Louhi was coming back, before Satsujin and Zwei, all of that.
"Well, anyway, I went to Lady Violet's house after coming back from Helsinki. So after that, I met Serena and we talked some. She was one of the first friends I made here, in over 20 years of service. Strange, huh?
"After that, I remember going to the mall to meet with Silver, she's another dragon, Runic, Silver's boyfriend, real pretty boy type, and Rayven, Silver's friend . . . or sister, it was confusing to me." He ate some more of his food.
"Anyway, so me and Rayven went off and got to know each other while Silver and Runic went their own way. Later, I came to the conclusion that I was in love with Rayven.
"Well, I had thought I was already in love with Lady Violet, so I was, needless to say, rather confused about everything. I told Rayven I loved her, she said she loved me, and after that, we didn't see each other for a long time. I got really depressed, and then started thinking more and more bout how I felt about Lady Violet. Well, during all this time, we'd talked back and forth, me and Violet. I never found any indication that she liked me, romanticly speaking, of course." They were sitting in a corner booth, and no one else was close enough to hear him, so he had no problem telling the Minister a summary of his time here at Red Infinity.
"Well, I went to her office, she answered the questions I asked her, and I finally concluded, after all this time saddly, that she didn't love me like I loved her. Well, I was broken up about this for awhile, but I'm over it now." He said, then spent some time enjoying his spagetti and soup.
"Then, she transfered me to the Ministry of Peace, and everything else you pretty much know.
"My biggest problem," He began, sounding annoyed and sad at the same time. "Is that, once I figured out Violet didn't love me, Rayven was nowhere to be found! Go figure, huh? Needless to say, this is a constant annoyance for me."
He finished talking, and then finished his soup. He added pepper to his spagetti.

"My highschool put on that musical and asked the middle schoolers to play Oliver and The Artful Dodger as well as all the orphans. I wasn't cute and innocent enough to get the part of Oliver, but I tried out for it."
Garret thinks back to the musicals.
"So I got stuck being an orphan. That was the only musical I was ever in."

After a long, comfortable rest, Sakari wakes up in one of the back seats of the van, he had good dreams.
I sit up, and hold my neck, bleeding slightly. I feel light headed, but somewhat euphoric, and begin to whistle a Fiona Apple song.
"Hey Zinn, you want to take over driving?" He says, unaware of her already volunteering to take over. "I'm feeling a little light headed."

I smile as I walk back into hte room with a large bowl of popcorn and some drinks. I set them on the table and sit down next to sayuka.
"... Really?... I havent really watched on before, unless you count the black and white ones in a drive through"

"I always liked musicals. I don't know why, I just always felt comfortable on stage. I got the lead roles in most plays I auditioned for. In cast A of Phantom of the Opera I was Raoul, in cast B I was The Phantom... I found that to be quite ironic," he said with a smirk. "I played Che in Evita and the barber in Sweeny Todd.
"A play I didn't really like, but found the music quite catchy too, was Jesus Christ Superstar. My school did it in secret and almost had to call it quits because of a Red Infinity inspection. I got the role of Judas though, which was cool cause I had one of the best songs."

"I'm feeling a little car sick. Can we call it a night. I don't think I can take anymore driving." Soren says to Zinn. He has been quiet most of the ride, but now he is starting to feel ill.
"Why the hell are you so cheerful?" He asks Sakari.

Linnea takes the plant. "Garret its beautiful!"
She hugs him and puts the plant on the counter. She liked how unique it was.
"Garret you were in a musical? I'm sure you were cute enought to get Oliver."

Garret helps himself to some more cake. He doesn't know that much about musicals, but it is interesting to hear Freakboy talk about them.
"Here, have some more cake."
Garret hands him another slice.
"Awe thanks Linnea. I love you."
"Food Glorious Food, hot sausage and mustard, while we're in the mood, cold jelly and custard. Pease Pudding and salviloys what next is the question? Rich gentlemen have it best....Indigestion!" He sings in his best Oliver voice.

I sigh and look towards her. "surprisingly... I ask myself that sometimes, but It all comes back to that I like you, or rather, Is infatuated with you... your not like the women nowadays...".
i smile at her, I was rather happy that she asked to go out. "... You remind me of women during the fuedal era japan... noble, fierce when needbe and kind and gentle... your not cruel to me sayuka... I was the one cruel to you when I wanted to keep you as a pet...".

Damascus raised an eyebrow.
"I thought we were already friends." He said, smiling slightly as well. "And months without having seen her, after seeing her almost every week . . . yeah, my confindence in ever seeing her again is next to nothing."
He sighed. "Looks like I'm loveless once again. But, your right, building other realtionships with people would be healthy for me. I'm getting to know Set better. He's another dragon, just in case you didn't know." Damascus explained.
