While Sava is sitting alone in the cafe, he looks out at the grey streets of the city. There are statues of the communist heroes of ancient times. Sava stares at a monsterous statue of Tito, the communist dictator who ruled Yugoslavia after WWII. He thinks to himself that things have not changed so much.
He thinks other things as well. Belgrade would make a good HQ for the Black Hand, if ever he can find any of their members.
He sits back and watches people waiting in long lines for the most basic foods.
He dreams that Belgrade could be made a cheerful place, rather than the gray city of want and loss it now is.

I'm not happy about Antero being captured either, but firstly, turning Soren in would be the absolute most immoral action we could undertake, and secondly, Antero has a rap sheet longer than a football field. even if the nihilists confess, it is doubtful that The Ministry of Terror will let Antero go."
