Under the Colors

[Sasha Kropotkin]

"Thank you Simona." I say, smiling. She's doing a much better job at this than I am.

"I hope all of the wrinkly uneven parts get smoothed out after we're 'fired'." I begin to imagine all of the horrible things that could go wrong in this process. One arm is a lot longer than the other, I forget some 'important parts', the feet aren't the right shape...

[Xavier Jaures]

"I don't mind. If you think you can learn something from us, feel free to spend time with us." Xavier replies to Lemminkainen.

"I am Xavier Jaures, this is my friend Phillipe Montaille, and this is my new aquiantance, Leon Bonaparte. It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Lemminkainen."

[Cephrien]

Ceph closed his eyes and sat down. "I'm not sure what i feel.." He said and crossed his legs. "..Sometimes i feel guilty.. because the enemy..just doesn't want to be the enemy..and they get destroyed anyway.. but sometimes i feel proud to take out the bad guys.. because not all of the enemy wants to be a good person.."

[Simona Weil]

"You are doing a fine job. And about what I said earlier...I didn't mean to say that. Maybe it is just something I wanted, but I don't mean to push you into some sort of monogamous relationship. I feel horrible about that. I wish I wouldn't have said anything." I say to Sasha as I work on my clay body. His reaction to what I said bothered me more than it should have.

[Sasha Kropotkin]

I smile and rest my hand on the small of her back.

"Hey, no worries, Simona. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, I'm not discounting anything at this point, and neither should you."

[Hoshi]

"I feel bad when bad things happen to people willing to work with the government, like...the feminists. But I don't feel bad for capitalists, nationalists, anarchists, or the religious. They are more extreme and break more laws."

I pick some fruit out of a tree and share it with Cephrien.

[Simona Weil]

"I think the words of my brother and some other people just get to me. I shouldn't let it, but they do. I know I have been living wrongly in some ways, but, I am not sure what right is."

[Lemminkainen]

I smile at each member of La Resistance.

"It's really cool meeting all of you. I hope things work out for your group and that someday you have your own country and government again."

[Damascus]

-Didn't a hurricane hit their base in the Virgin Islands?- Damascus asked, settling back down after stretching. -Besides, last I heard, weren't they with the League or the Ministry of Terror or something?-

[Cephrien]

Ceph ate some of the fruit and smiled at Hoshi with gratitude. "..Actually.. from what i've seen from Capitalists.. they should all just go home.." He said and closed his eyes. "....The way those two men were afraid of death disguisted me.." He paused and opened his eyes again. "...Of course.. I AM a "murderous demon"..."

[Sasha Kropotkin]

"You can explain everything to him as soon as we get back, and both of us can start over. This will be a clean slate." I say, starting to think of what happened to Charlotte. I lower my head.

"I know the first person I'm going to visit after things are settled down with the anarchists." I say, now concentrating on the clay mold in front of me.

[Xavier Jaures]

"I appreciate that, Lemminkainen. I hope the same for Finland and for all people longing for self determination."
Although it doesn't seem like it, Xavier is actually an internationalist. He works with La Resistance because he believes it is the right of the French people to have their own government, however, personally, he has very few national attachments.

[Simona Weil]

"I talked to her one day. I would advise you to leave her alone. She is a traumatized woman and your seeing her might make matters worse. In this case, it may be best..at least for her, to avoid contact." I say to Sasha.

I decide that I want to be a little thinner, so I start taking some clay from off my waist.

[Hoshi]

"I've never actually killed someone before. What is it like to kill?" I ask him.

[Aung San Suu Kyi]

"No, they are now in Helsinki with the rebels according to intelligence. They were taken by Keitoleinen and I can only imagine what he did to them, but, they were released."
