I am a little less enthused about meeting Pakkanen. As I recall this is a fairy that Sasha married when he traveled to the fairy world.
That is a story he never fully explained to me.
I stand beside Sasha silently.

"We already have an alliance with a French nationalist group called La Resistance. If you do not have any objections, perhaps we could enter talks to create a stronger, more official alliance between our groups," Raz says as she returns with a pitcher of water and some glasses. Since no one asked for anything, it seemed like a safe bet.

"Sasha, is it really you? I thought you had become a part of that horrible fairy, Hedeon." Pakkanen is over joyed to see Sasha as he remembers him.

"Okay, but can Snowflake speak English..?" I reply a little skeptical about a salamander.
"Or we could tie notes to him or something. Although tying notes to it would be about as obvious as wearing an earpiece."

"I don't think it is a problem. We are not the leaders of the Blackhand, just members. It would be up to the leaders to decide, wherever they are." Sava replies.
"Until we can find out where our group stands membership and leadershipwise, do you need any help with anything. We are willing to stay in Capital City if you need any assistance."

"As you can see, we're sorta dead right now... Is there some sort of fairy ritual to bring us back to life?" I ask him hopefully.

"Thank you for the offer. There are a few hotels in the area," Raz states. She wants to say that Hagana does not need the help, but does not want to be impolite. Raz is very proud of Hagana's independence.

"If you need us, we will be staying nearby for a while so we can learn more about your group and help when needed."
Sava turns to Aleks.
"'As long as we are here, Chicago and Toronto have large populations of Serbians. We could pay those city a visit to see if we can recruit anyone sympathetic to our cause." He says as they walk out the door to find a hotel.

"There is but it is long and complicated. I can take you to fairy land if you think it is worth it." Pakkanen replies.

"So he like... Talks..? I don't know, I'm a little uncomfortable trusting a salamander." I say somewhat apologetically.

"Pardon me, but I have a hard time trusting humans. We all have to deal, now please show some respect." Snowflake says as he pokes his head out of Pierre's pocket. Pierre is taken aback by Snowflake's sudden appearance.

I am reminded of a commercial I saw on a website that was about capitalist nostalgia. It involved a talking gecko.
"Ah! Sorry Snowflake, I mean..." I look at Snowflake. "I mean I've just never really met a talking... Salamander before...."

"I can go right now, come on!" Pakkanen takes their hands and teleport them to fairy world. The fairies are dancing in a circle and singing merry songs. He leads Simona and Sasha to the mushroom house. "We will need to build you new bodies out of clay. The fairies will need a lot of magic to bring them to life. When they have been made real, your spirits can go inside." Pakkanen thinks of how he can generate that much fairy magic.
"While I am thinking, you and Simona can work on creating bodies out of clay." He brings them to the basement where he has a mound of red fairy clay. "Mix the clay with pollen and fairy honey. We will put the clay in a kiln, then you can paint on the details such as hair and eyes."
