Making Peace With Demons

[Pukk]

After a really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really long nap, Pukk wakes up in Kaschei's vent. He takes a long hard yawn, and scratches his tummy. "Awww that felt gooooood... Like an ice cream sundae. Too bad it's only Saturday."

Pukk flies around in Kaschei's office vacantly, and over hears his conversation.

"Kaschei Kaschei Kaschei!!! I KNEW there was something you weren't telling me you sneaky pants! Why didn't you tell me you wanted to be a God? That's so cool!! You could teach me how to make a rock that's too heavy for me to lift!!"

[Erin Valotovna]

I don't know what to say so I just nod. "I'll have my belongings transferred here immediately. Where will my office be?"

[Kaschei]

"You can have an office across the hall and move into any of the spare apartments here." Kaschei says to Erin. He turns to Pukk.

"Be quiet, pest."

[Pukk]

"Oh sorry! I didn't know you had company!" Pukk replies, running his two fingers over his mouth as though he were zipping it.

Pukk hovers over Erin's head.

[Erin Valotovna]

"Thank you." I look at the pixie that just flew over my head. "Who is this?"

[Kaschei]

"This little annoyance is Pukk. I don't know what purpose he has. I am not even sure why I keep him around."

[Erin Valotovna]

"He is... Interesting. I'm sure he's got to be useful for something."

[Pukk]

"Because you love me!" Pukk replies gleefully, then flies back over to Kaschei, kisses his forehead and flies away.

"But I'll let you two talk. There's a racquetball court with my name on it. It says 'Pukk!'"

[Kaschei]

Kaschei watches the pixie leave and feels relief that the nuissance didn't break anything this time.

"He is sometimes useful at delivering messages or driving people away."

[Erin Valotovna]

"Then keep him around. Give him a doll house or something, I don't know. Now is there anything else?"

[Kaschei]

"A doll house? Oh, I was just keeping him in a jar with holes punched in the cover. He might like a doll house. I will work on that."

"No, there is nothing else. You may settle into your office and room, and I will call you if you are needed."

[Erin Valotovna]

"Okay sir, I appreciate it." I walk to the office and immediately arrange for a kerosene supply and an uplink. I will do all I can to be useful here, as it is how one can become trusted...

[Meg]

Meg shook her head and turned to Sisulu."Oh...nothing.."She said absent minded.

[Kaschei]

Kaschei returns to his work, but is glad to have some help at last. Erin seems like she will be sensible and hard working. He appreciates this.
