Antero sits in his cell, but is no longer thinking about Sasha and Simona. Instead he is trying not to think about how hungry he is. Someone forgot to feed him today and yesterday, and now, he is weak with dehyrdration and dizzy from hunger.

Ceph quickly dashed across the ground, dodging the Golem's blows. He aimed the palm of his hand at Vaeris and sent another Stress Wave, except this one drained insanity.

When Sava and Aleks return to the hotel, Sava turns to Aleks and feels a great sense of relief. He doesn't know what that vampire wanted, but he is afraid.
"Maybe we should just listen to what that vampire said and stay out of their affairs." He says in a cowardly voice.

This small victory would mean very little. Red Infinity would still rule the world. Paris would still be ruled by Red Infinity's leaders there. But, a small victory would renew the hopes of the rebels. It would also allow La Resistance to regroud in Paris, something nearly impossible with the Bloodspeakers there.

Illidan spends his days reading books, touring schools, and doing whatever work Krupskaya sets out for him. He enjoys working for the Ministry of Education, and finds that with this new job, he is generally happier. He thinks of Kaieka often, but is so busy that he has not had time to visit her at the Ministry of Terror.

Ukko returns to his office and reassumes the guise of an old man. Most people now know who he really is, but there are many lesser operatives who do not. He is also more comfortable as an old man. His natural form looks too immature in his opinion.

Kaschei is pleased that Erin and Kankahatteret spoke with the demons. He will only keep Sisulu imprisoned for three days. This is only to teach him a lesson not to harm Red Infinity operatives. Kaschei is not aware that Meg had rebel sympathies, but since she was not on the list of members to purge, this wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Carter gets out of bed, dresses, and fixes himself some breakfast. He whistles a tune as he makes himself a bowl of oatmeal. He sprinkles some brown sugar in the bowl and sits down to enjoy it.
"Charlotte, I am going to head on out to the rebel base. I don't know what I can do to help out, but I want to go there and see if I can't help the Green Party, feminists, or those folks who are going to fight that evil bird. I'll see you later, my pecan pie."
He heads out the door and takes a teleportation booth to Helsinki. He enters the rebel base and sits in the lobby.

Bassarov shows Misere Omen to her room.
"This is where you can stay. I will take you to see the anarchists as soon as I get a spare moment. But right now, things are very busy here. We are planning on attacking a Black Pheonix named Kaitalish. Kaitalish is the head of a cult named the Bloodspeakers. The Bloodspeaker have attacked many groups on behalf of Red Infinity. That is why we are going to try to fight him. If you are interested in joining the fight, you can meet the rebels in the lobby later."
After saying that, Bassarov leaves Misere to her room and returns to his apartment.

((Nice try, but you can't drain the insanity just like that. You aren't going to be able to get rid of insanity with some cheesy power, it's an integral part of the character and certain things must happen for it to be destroyed.))
The stress wave causes my eyes to glow bloodred. My blade comes out and I slash at Cephrien's throat while my Golem slashes at his back.

My cell phone rings. I answer it and speak into it in French for a moment.
"Excuse me," I say as I walk out of the room. A moment later, I step back in, carrying two suitcases.
"I 'ave called in some favors, and managed to procure some things to aid us against ze bloodspeakers!" I announce cheerfully.
