How kind of you to notice. That image is a picture of a technic that I haven't given my character yet.
Long story short I got inner demons to resolve. The marks glow orange, spread to cover the left side of my body and them turn into black tattos.
In this form my jitsu technics are more powerful and my physcial powers grow. I also develope a bit of blood lust.

Yes, the transformation has the side effect of making me rather dangerous. It gets worse the longer I use it. Personally I like bloody posts plenty, that's why I'm a Shinobi.
Kuni knives, while not the worst, can make a serious mess of someone's internal organs.
My main weapons, the fuumi shuriken, is basically four razor bladed shortswords on a right. Lots of blood from that.
