I did not say I am not a jerk sometimes, but I did say that men can choose not to be one. Just takes a little effort.

I've never found it difficult to not be a jerk. Not all men are jerks and to make such a generalization is ignorant to the extreme.
You are welcome to tell me that I am a jerk, but if so I do have a great deal of support that indicates otherwise.

i use to think all men were jerks. Actually not a very nice person was the term i used. Any woman who had gone through a bad situation like i had would think that. But not all men are like that.
I learned that in the last year. And i think that some guys can actually be quite charming. Whether or not they are masquerading i don't know.
And we could easily turn this on women as well. All women are pregnant doges. There its even now...lol

i suppose you could say that... but it wouldnt be true... the not a very nice personness (^_^ not a word but oh well) of guys has rubbed off alittle on females, but they are in no way pregnant doges.... and sry, but ALL men are not a very nice persons... despite what you or anyone else thinks... *shakes head* you should stop flattering yourself and denying it and accept it already.... its true

Let me give you a middle ground:
Men can be jerks and not a very nice persons like...
Women can be vindictive pregnant doges.
There. The mystery of life is complete. Move on.

I beg to differ. And since you are the one making the statement you get the distinct honor of proving it. Come back and say that when you've gone out and interviewed every single male in the entire world, thoroughly, mind you, and THEN you may make such a statement.

I used to think guys were jerks. Then, I dated a girl named Caitlin, and I discovered that girls are jerks too. Sooo.... yeah.
I think everyone is a jerk to some degree. You either have to figure out how to tolerate certain types of jerkiness, or become a celibate hermit.

I know quite a few guys that aren't jerks at all. I suppose I have had the great experience of knowing guys that are of excellent quality. A lot of the guys I hang out with are extremely far from being jerks, they are caring, intellegent, stand-up guys.
So, all of this to say... even though one may have had bad experiences with the male gender, it does not mean that every single male is a "jerk". There are wonderful, thoughtful guys out there, perhaps they are an anomale, but I think that one can find them... since I have, and all quality males can not be relegated to Minnesota.

Anyway.... on topic.
My favourite relationships are the love triangle between Mischa, Zero, and Bassarov, and the love triangle between Simona, Antero, and Sasha.
Yeah, I have a thing for angst and weird dynamics. The way these characters react to each other is usually very interesting, and says a lot about the character involved.
