In human form Lai has slightly curly hair. Her hair is long and covers most of her back. It is a lighter blue then when she is in mermaid form and her eyes are a kind and gentle baby blue. Lai wears a long blue skirt with a lightblue tank top.
Sleeves of a dark green on tied around her arms. Lai wears no shoes and lets her hair down and never brushes it, but it seems always neat. Lai is 5'3" in human form and is perfectly slim.
Personality: Lai is a shy girl. She is scared of humans and other beings that are not of the ocean. Lai can hardly talk the human's tongue which is why she stays back from them. Lai is easily scared and startled. She is not very good at protecting herself.
Story: Lai is scared of the humans and other land beings because they throw nets in the water. At first it wasn't any where near the mermaids, but then they got closer. Many mermaids got caught and died. That's when the mermaids want deep down into the sea.
All mermaids were forbidden to go near land. But once the humans saw mermaids, the humans beings made a conquest to satisfy their dark minds. So the mermaids started dying out. Now we find ourselves in 2004. Mermaids are believed to be a myth.
But then many years after 2004, when the world is in the shadow of Red Infinity, Lai was mad. She wanted to go to land and stop the humans from hurting sea creatures and make them allow more water space. So Lai got caught on purpose.
When the fisher men put her in a trunk, she tried to get out of the water they give her and jumped out of the trunk. She landed in a lake. Now Lai is trying to look at the human's appearance so she can transform into one. After accomplishing this, she joined the Green Party, since they were an environmentalist group. She has a few sisters that are still live in the ocean and her father and mother are also still alive.
