awwe...oh well...I am confident because i need to be in my line of work. And about Pain. See pain is what i need...i eat those emotions. Whether you like it or not anyone can feel them. anyone can...and when they do i can take it. I make it go away and i eat it. I take it into myself. You do not DO pain...thats fine. Thats you. But not all of us can eat the way you do. Some of us are cursed.

If no other way is available...say were stuck in a barney video or something hell yeah we eat flesh. Memories of pain and sadness and rage are imprinted in the very being. It is in the blood and tissue of beings even after death. So yes we can eat flesh. and we drink blood.
We just choose to do it the less messy way. I was always confuse with how you ate creatures. Did you eat them as mortals eat a chicken or do you just absorb them? I am curious.

Generally in the manner of mortals, I absorbs their souls but I ingest their flesh and blood.
Usually, if their human sized or larger, I don't eat the whole thing all that once, it would just take to long. I'll carry it back to my lair and eat at my leasure.
See, I am not limited to the normal mouth size of an average human. Let us just say, that my eating habits might be considered disgusting to a normal person.
I'll eat major organs first and then work through the meat, draining the blood from a section of the body first so it's nice and dry.

I would think you wouldn't want it dry...but oh well. I understand now. i bet your lair is quite the sight. Do you keep the bones of your victims? Bleach them and they would add a macabre decor to it. if i ate flesh now, thats what i would do. WHat do you do with the skin? do you eat it as well?
