Actually, it is. The icon is smaller and the human eye, being lazy, is drawn to lighter colors when given the choice.
The avatar is a larger marker and catches the eye easier.

80: Charm: A move that hexes someone when you sing with your charm then skill, what it does is seal your magic and abilites and can only attack with pure psyicahl attacks.

That Charm ability looks like said powergaming that we're discussing in the Suggestions forums.
I have a power like this on my Vaeris character. However, what happens is it's a field, and it effects me too. If someone suddenly can't use their powers, they suddenly find themselves at a HUGE disadvantage. If such a power were common, then everyone would get it and battles would be decided by who took the initiative and knocked out their opponent's powers, leaving them free to use all of their powers to completely mutilate their foe. I STRONGLY advise that you revamp that, or go pick a fight with Lin-Sat and use it on him. Frankly, I favor either action, but realistically, I say just change it to either a) something completely different or b) something that nullifies all powers within a set area (I had a friend talk to Bassarov about it when I made my power, what he said was a 1/2 mile field that dissipates after about 3 or 4 hours, I'd suggest you do the same).

hmm, i dont see a problem with that... she is a singer... almost everyone is stronger then her even without their techniques. especially the vampires and such they fight... she was just fighting karen, even with that ability. karen would still be stronger, faster and more agile then her because one of karens techniques is her physical form, tho not everyone has that..., but they would still be stronger....
and i have a question...
who the fuc'k died and said you could become mod. cause i dont remember anyone saying that or it being posted anywhere by bassarov. and im getting really sick and tired of your constant babble of powergaming. YOU DO IT TOO... so shut up about it already

I don't think the steal is permanent. Besides, there are characters that don't have any magical abilities. They could probably defeat her. I don't see why an ability that steals magic ones is so bad. It's not like she can use them after she steals them. If she did that, I would complain. Maybe if a character is too powerful the ability is useless, like in the cases of Lin-Sat or Lady Violet?

There is a vast difference between what I am doing and what mods are doing. I just make suggestions. Mods tell people what to do and you have to follow them. As far as being sick of my "babble about powergaming", deal with it. You accuse ME of powergaming? I beg to differ. I ALWAYS have a new power checked for me (I usually give it to QCppg/Kolov who talks to Bassarov about it, as he actually is in contact with Bassarov) so as to ensure that they are not too powerful for the game. Any "powergaming" I do is merely creative use of my powers. Like the gating ability, for example. I've known about the ability for a long time, as I play Dungeons and Dragons quite a bit. I happened to realize the potential of this common teleportation ability, and have then chosen to use it in that fashion when able. That isn't powergaming because the ability itself is pretty standard fare. The way I use it, however, is different from the norm.
Well, this depends on whether or not we consider all powers to be the same, be they magic, psionic, ki, or otherwise. John's argued in both directions when either benefitted him, so I'm not quite sure where the game stands on this. My major concern is the fact that she can still use her powers which gives her a great advantage over someone who cannot. Most of it is because I am unclear as to what exactly it locks down. I read that to mean "all powers", but if it were only certain types I don't see too great a problem with it.

Okay, this is out of hand. These threads are for posting new powers ONLY. Bassarov already made this clear some weeks/months ago, but I feel the need to repeat. Unless you are commenting on the character who initiated the thread I see no reason to post here,
