Regardless of Violet and Chao's relationship, however strange that may be, the girl Hikari is not related either of them at all.
It's normal relationship, if a little creepy, Hikari being a little girl and all.

Technically it is not incest because Hikari is not Violet's biological daughter. Symbolically I suppose it is though. Freud would have a field day with the situation.

... chao is blood related to violet, what he is to her i dont know, but it doesnt matter.... it is still incest
and riku, as i have said before, has someone, suzumi, and he will continual to stay with her even if she never comes back, or if she says she doesnt like him, he will stick with her. it was explained in the story a few times, but i guess you ignored that post like so many other ones of mine, so im not going through it here
and having your parents pair you with who you are goiing to marry.... isnt really communist.....

Well, they likely will never get married since the rpg won't last THAT long
And yes, it is not a communist thing, since marriage can often be an oppressive institution
Violet is looking out for her own interests and what she thinks is best for Hikari
It is a little odd, since Violet wants Hikari to marry something akin to a male version of herself
But she sees Chao as someone who will take care of Hikari in a way that Violet would.

Incest, as defined by Webster's- Sexual relationships between persons co closely related that they are forbidden by law or religion to marry.
Hikari and Chao are not related. It's not incest.

I'm just going to say a tid bit...
I, ironically, agree with the Lady Violet. Hikari maybe her daughter, but she is an adopted daughter. There is no blood relation, thus, there is no incest.(IC: Otherwise, incest would've been me and my foster brother. But since it wasn't, it was rape...) But at any rate, I send Hikari my condolences for having to put up with this...
