Nightstaff: A black staff that contains Ixyan's breath attack and can unleash it with a simple command word. The staff is an extension of Ixyan, merely a condensation of his breath ability.

Powers:
Breath of the Dark Dragon: Ixyan exhales a cloud of black smoke. The smoke quickly envelops an area, making it difficult to see and irritating the eyes. When inhaled, the smoke's poisonous nature damages the lungs, making it increasingly difficult to breathe. Permanent lung damage or death may occur due to prolonged exposure. Emphysema or lung cancer may also be caused in this manner.
Necromancy: Ixyan can raise skeletons and zombies from the ground where corpses are available and force them to fight under his command. The more minions raised in this manner, the more difficult they are to control. Zombies are weaker than skeletons, and should no bodies be present or if desired, ghosts may be summoned instead. Ghosts are the strongest undead that may be raised in this way, but also are the most difficult to control.
Geas: Ixyan lays a geas upon someone, compelling them to work towards some goal that he specifies. This goal might be to obtain an object or slay a certain person. The geas may not force someone to do something that they normally would be absolutely averse to, i.e. kill a friend or violate their morals. While under the geas, the target feels an increasingly powerful compulsion to complete the task, and the longer the task remains undone the more the target's sanity begins to slip. Geases may only be laid upon someone who is weakened and unable to resist (asleep, unconcious, weakened, etc.).
Decay: Ixyan invokes a cloud of noxious fumes that aggravate the aging process. While in the cloud, beings age at a rapid rate. This is not permanent, but the damaging effects of the aging can severely injure or even kill someone, especially with prolonged exposure. While leaving the cloud does return someone to their normal age, the effects fo the cloud are still felt in terms of phsyical exhaustion and illness.
Poisoned Shaft: Ixyan can emit a poisonous barb, hurling it at a target. The barb can be coated with one of several poisons, a paralysis poison, a sleeping poison, a mind-affecting poison, or a potentially fatal poison.

Personality: Ixyan is cold, calculating, passionless, and extremely ruthless. He is much more malign than most Dark Dragons, who tend towards apathy, but he still possess the burning desire for all things magical, and has a great interest in the aquisition of magical arts.
Story: Ixyan was approached by Red Infinity after he leveled an entire Chinese village in order to practice his necromantic arts. While the people who lived there weren't exactly important, Red Infinity saw the power the dragon possessed and offered him a chance to join them.
