Appearance: Roxanne has long black hair, with red highlights. Her eyes are a stunning red, and her skin is a pale color. Her finger nails are slightly sharp and long, and are painted red. Her figure is slim, and she wears a black shirt with orange spots on the sleeves that look like paint smudges. For pants she wears tight fitting flare jeans and normal white sneakers.
Personality: At first look, Roxanne may look a bit gothic. She likes to have fun through, and is a nice person to others, never letting them see her down and upset side that she keeps bottled up. Since she keeps her real emotions bottled up, when she starts to get mad she explodes.
The only person she feels she can put her trust in is the girl she saved as a child, Lena. Through they have not seen each other in years, she feels Lena is the only person who cares about her in the world, which is why she keeps going.
Story: Roxanne's parents were both human when she was born. Two nights after her birth, a vampire had been roaming the hospital, looking for medical blood. He stumbled into her room, and turned both her parents, needing blood as soon as possible. He was going to turn Roxanne too, but her father chased him away somehow before he could. Her parents hide the horrible truth of what had happened that night from her. They raised Roxanne in the demon realm, since they were much too afraid of being hunted in the human world. They lived in a small house in the clearing of a forest, sure that no one would bother them.
When Roxanne was eight, she had been wondering the forest in curiosity even through her parents told her never to enter the forest. She happen to stumble upon a nine year old girl who looked very lost, when a demon appeared. Roxanne was lucky enough to chase away the demon by making some scary sound that she had heard from the forest before. She knew the demon would realize it had been fooled, so she quickly grubbed Lena and ran to her house.
After they talked for a while and played, Lena promised she's visit her again. Roxanne walked with Lena back to the Ice Lands, but could not enter, since she would freeze to death. Lena visited daily, until suddenly stopping when Roxanne was 15. Roxanne did not see her for years to come. Having vampires for parents, she had a pretty poor childhood even through they loved her. Her father worked at a blood bank for days, bringing back blood in secret for her mother. For many years, they had to survive on blood from the blood bank, always resisting drinking blood from their daughter.
Until one night, Roxanne's mother and father got into a fight with a demon while walking through the woods surrounding their house. The demon hurt them badly, taking much of their blood. When they arrived home, they needed blood badly.
There was no blood around the house, and Roxanne was their only choice. She was sixteen. They drank some of her blood, turning her into a vampire herself. She felt betrayed and alone, so she forced her father to take her to the human world. He took her to Helsinki, and left her there.
Roxanne's father and mother are her only living family, still living in the demon realm in their old house. She will wish to join the Last Wave group, since she feels women have and need their rights. She's always felt that way, having known well and visiting the human realm often. She first heard about the Last Wave group from a couple of girls. She had been at a cafe, drinking some tea, when she over heard two girls talking about a feminist group. She asked them about it, and they told her about the Last Wave and that they were at the Virgin Islands, before quickly rushing off, being afraid Last Wave may be a rebel group.
Roxanne thinks that women are and have been treated under men, not as equals. She also hates the fact that children are able to be taken away from their families. She doesn't hate men, just the ones who think they are better then women and that women can't defend themselves. She also hates men that take adventage of women, she thinks it's plain unfair. At current through, lost and alone, Roxanne felt as if she no longer knew herself as she wandered Helsinki. She just needed some time to figure everything out before she would join the Last Wave.
