I travel down the lamp lit streets, through grime and darkness. I come across three dogs. The dogs are sleek and black, and they are eating something. With vicious growls they tear the flesh of some unknown creature. AS I get nearer I see that they are devouring a human child.
"Oh...God!" I exclaim in disgust.
"The gods are dead, Kith." a seductive feminine voice says.
"It is only an expression. It means nothing, " I reply.
Nadezhda Krasnev steps from the shadows. She has long red hair and rose red lips. She wears a fashionable black dress and a large brimmed black hat. She is the spy we planted at the Helsinki Institute.
"Letting Hope escape, does that mean nothing as well," she says with a devious smirk.
She knows. d**n it she saw me.
"What will you do, tell Lin-Sat. I would have you dead and buried before my own trial if that were to happen," I replied.
"Ooh, threats! You must be scared Kith. I merely want to say that you should be careful. People who aren't useful get purged, and traitors are not useful," she says.
"I am not a traitor. I give my life to the cause," I reply.
"Then you have nothing to worry about," she says as she walks off into the darkness.
I won't worry about her. Instead I travel to the highest tower in the city. From there I can see everything. This is the perfect place to rain down my destruction. The rebels will die.

i thought i saw Hope leaving the city. I heard on the news there was a fire and that her father died. this is horrible! she must feel so alone. I quickly grab a few things: food, homework, my antique porcelain egg (which i found the same day I met Lemminkainen so it must be lucky), and some other things and throw them into my backpack. i wont be gone too long. i just need to get her back to school. she can't run away. she'll miss out on finals and that would be bad for her GPA.
I take the trolley out of town, hoping that I can catch up to Hope Dayspring.

Earlier today, a strange man came to visitn my room mate, Nadezhda. This confirms my beliefs that she is a spy. He told her to leave the city. The man looked at me with pity in his eyes, almost telling me to leave as well. He was tall, with gray skin and elven features. I have seen him before on the television. I think his name is Kith. Something is going down, I just know it. i have to get out of here and fast.
I run to find Genki, but I am told that he went after Hope. Hope, i hate hope. Fine, he can die with her in the city. I'm leaving.

Bassarov seperates from Patrick and Calithin for a while to find Hope. The city is busy and he sees that there is a great deal of Red Infinity activity. Many military vehicles are heading out of the city. This disturbs him. In fact, all the events that have transpired are disturbing to Bassarov. He walks down the street alone. Suddenly, he is grabbed from behind and hit in the back of the head. Everything goes dark.
When Bassarov wakes up, he is tied up in the back of a Helicoptor. He is being transported to Beijing to meet Lin-Sat. He is not afraid, but worries about Calithan and Patrick. He hopes that they are able to fare well without him. Worse yet, he is afraid that they might come to his rescue. This would prove deadly for them.
Bassarov is brought to Beijing and taken directly to Lin-Sat. He knows what Lin-Sat wants: his allegiance to Red Infinity.
"I started all of this. Red Infinity was my own creation. The revolution was a success, if I could call it a success. This is not the government I envisioned. I gave everything, for this? No...for something greater," Bassarov thinks to himself as he is brought to Lin-Sat's office on the 52nd floor of the International HQ of Red Infinity.

I gave Kith his orders and await his final report. Within a few hours, Helsinki will be destroyed along with all of the rebels now residing in the city. I would beg Lin-Sat to retract his orders, but such efforts would be futile.
In the mean time I prepare my speeches. The first speech will be on the "mysterious tragedy" of Helsinki. The other will be on the state of the economy.
I am brightened by the news that one of the greatest enemies or perhaps allies to the state has been captured. Valodya Bassarov may prove useful to us if he rejoins the cause. I think that with some not so gentle persuasion this can be accomplished.
There has been no word on Dr. Whitmer's progress on his assignment. For him, time is running out.

(warning to all members: You should plan on getting out of Helsinki or plan on how you will survive the destruction. )
Bassarov is brought into Lin-Sat's office. The office is dark, but has a large window, with which he can oversee Beijing. The gaurds are dismissed and Bassarov stands face to face with the one who tainted Bassarov's hopes and dreams for the world.

Patrick looked around and sensed another demon. This one had a slight scent of cat. He quickley turned and bade his farewell to Calithan, then ran off in the direction that this scent was comming from.

"Well, you've finally got me. What do you intend to do with me? Execute me? I'm not an enemy of the government you know, but that is what you've marked me as. All I have done was in self defense," Bassarov says cooly.

Here I stand, above the city and above the world. I begin to gather my energies into an energy ball. The ball grows larger and larger as I put more of my energy into it. I hold it high above my head, and it becomes a shining beacon of communism. At last, when it is 30 times the size of myself, I shout "Silent Anguish" I let it go. I thrust it downward at the city. There is a huge flash of light, I imagine it is something like the effects of an atomic bomb. In a flash, the city evaporates into nothing but rubble. All of the people who walk down the streets, the children in school yards, the empty churches, all are obliterated in a blinding light. Smoke and ash fill the air, and infiltrate my lungs. I have completed the mission. I leave the city, or the burnt husk that was the city and return to Moscow. I will report to the Ministry of Terror.

as an NPC
Above the wreckage of Helsinki, Mortis, Angel of Death spots his master, Surma. He flies downward to speak with his master.
"Lord Surma, the other gods have fled Earth. Why do you stay? It is too dangerous. Ukko would kill you if he found you here, Master," Mortis says.
Mortis has long black hair and black wings. He is loyal to his master. Every god has at least one angel messenger, and for Surma, his is Mortis.

"Sir, there is nothing you can do for Kalma. You can't bring her back. Just leave this planet or you will die to. I don't want to see that. You'll never defeat Ukko, everyone who has tried has died. Please leave Master! I will take you with me," Mortis says with sincere concern for his young master.

As Mortis:
"If anyone can kill him, you can sir. I remember that you came close the last time you fought him. He's waiting for you and watching for you. He won't be caught off guard again. I hear that he grows more powerful everyday. Surma....I just want you to be safe. You look so sad, master, so sad. It isn't right that you should look so down all the time," Mortis said.
