To Sazumi:
"Bassarov left us because he said that we were not living up to his ideals! Can you believe that! The nerve! Well, now he'll pay. He'll suffer in his cell in Moscow until Lin-Sat decides to have him executed!" the woman says with a bitter smile.

My name is Kaieka, a mistress of the night.
I have searched for a sense of meaning for my life for almost as long as I've lived it, and I've lived a long time. After my family was murdered, many years back, I took a drastic action, trying to dull the pain. I was offered immortality, a chance to outlive the pain. I sucked immortality from the vein of Kuro, the demon. I have never lived since.
I am an apparation, a sort of living dead, and I now suck the life from others. I am a vampiress.
I usually move from lonely person to lonely person, getting my sustinance (mostly longing to be loved). Oh, I have loved many men, but men don't last. Maybe someday I will find the one, the one that I won't end up killing.
It seemed only natural when Red Infinity approached me to do some of their dirty work. I don't like to be bound to anyone, and I am not an avid supporter of the government, but a little torture now and then gets a girl's blood pumping.
Who is this man that I now have in my grasp? What has he done? A political prisoner at the Ministry of Terror? It is of no consequence to me (is anything anymore?), I just take some satisfaction that I get to inflict pain on someone else. And if I get a little wine from his veins as well, well... this should be fun.
I approach the cell...

Ligthmer's quest continued from pg. 6...
Lightmer was escorted out of the office. He had his assignment and he was expected to prove his loyalty. Questions raced through Lightmer's mind. How could Lin-sat know so much? Who was this person that they wanted to do experiments on and what kind of information could he possibly be holding? Perhaps this is a "fools" errand and his death was awaiting him back at the ministry of psychology (similar setups were known to have been arrainged before, in the parties attempt to get rid of upstarts by making it look like an accident.) Many things swarmed in Lightmer's mind and amoungst them was the thought that although Red Infinity was the reason he was stuck in his accursed body, they had treated him quite well during his work for them...even after they discoverd his forged status.
Trying to make sense of it all, Lightmer stops into a Pub to clear his head...

Bassarov droggily sits in his cells after another grueling day of tortures and interrogations. His midium length black hair is wet with sweat and blood and sticks to his guant face. He struggles to lift his head when he sees a beautiful dark haired woman enters the cell. She appears to by a Kuraijin, or vampire, one of the humans who long ago bartered their souls for a drink of Kuro's immortal blood. She appears all too happy to torture Bassarov.
"Just kill me. I have no information that Lin-SAt does not already know. I see no reason to continue this gruesome game," Bassarov says.
He would like to die, since he bears the burdon of fomenting the revolution that brought to birth the evil that is Red Infinity.

Since there has been no sign of Hope or no word from Lin-Sat, I decide to investigate the Ursarian problem. An Ursarian has been terrorizing villages, and all of the soldiers sent to stop it, have been slaughtered. Although such a trivial mission is normally beneath me, I am in the area, so dealing with it will be no effort.
I travel from village to village, tracing the Ursarian's path of destruction. Finally, I catch up with the giant bear in a village 200 kilometers north of Helsinki. I approach the bear and decide to speak with it before exterminating it.

The elven operative i met in Helsinki has followed me here. Blast it! I will destroy anyone who stands in my way!! "Die, Red Infinity Scum!" I charge at him and knock him to the ground, I then slash at his head with my enormous black paw.

I easily push the bear off of me, at throw her. She hits a storage shed. I heal the wound that she has inflicted on my face and once again try speaking to her.
"Why have you done this? These innocent villagers have no connection to Red Infinity. Why kill them unless your too cowardly to fight us directly?" I say in a calm but stern manner.

"Don't you dare call me a coward! I am an Ursarian, and we are by nature a race of brave fighters! I killed these humans because I hate humans and I want to destroy them all. Someday, I will rule the world on behalf of Ursarians everywhere!"
I get off the ground and charge at him again.

I jump out of the way of the charging bear. Ursarians can be so thick headed. It is no wonder that Red Infinity is putting them in labor camps. They are a danger to humans and to the state.
"Why can't you Ursarians just submit to the government like everyone else does?"
I turn around and punch her in the head, she goes flying and displaces rocks and dirt when she hits the ground. This time, I think she is out.

He hits me so hard that I am knocked out of my bear form. I return to my weaker human like form. I'm totally irate with this idiot elf so I'll simply kill him. I gather my energies and form an energy ball in my gloved hands.
"I'm tired of listening to you, Die!" I say as I whip the energy ball at him.

I quickly form my own ball of energy and deflect her energy ball. I am impressed that she has such amazing powers. She might even be useful to us at Red Infinity, if we could brainwash her into following our ideals. The Ministry of Psychology could easily do that for us.
"Tell me, how is it that you were able to form that ball of energy? I have been training at Red Infinity all my life to harness such powers."

"According to our religion, all living things contain Manala energy, a spirit energy which connects all living things to one another. With concentration and training, this energy can be manipulated. All Ursarians know about this and have some mastery over it. That's why you should beware of us!"

" A friend once told me this: Some artists and others have their own little worlds. Few actually journey to those worlds, and even fewer are allowed in. Maybe his ideals weren't finding fault with you, but with something else that could be easily remedied to fit them." The small girl, appearing no more than eight, looked up at the woman, her eyes silently pleading the woman to lower the gun and let her be on her way. She wasn't going to hurt anyone.

To Sazumi:
"Ah, you won't harm anyone...I'll let you go. But be careful little girl. The world is a dangerous place. But, if you get into trouble with Red Infinity, just tell them to send you to me....I'm Sofia, Sofia Belov."

This Ursarian has portential. I decide not to kill her. I will indeed bring her to the Ministry of Psychology for some reconstructive thinking. "How would you like to come with me to St. Petersburg? You show a great deal of potential."
