Bassarov senses something strange about the youth. His deep eyes reveal an ancient soul.
"Who...who...are you...?" Bassarov asks.
But the child, like a ghost, disappears on a train, leaving Bassarov confused.
Bassarov turns and walks back to Partick and Calithan.

The train station features a 20 foot portrait of Lady Violet. Bassarov admires it for a moment, she represents the people. She may be the only kind person in Red Infinity. She even saved his life once when he was captured by the Ministry of Terror. He glances back at the others.
A scientist named Dr. Dayspring lives in Helsinki. We should find him. He's a rebel too.

I had my own reasons for going to the Ministry of Psychology. (side quest) A darkness weighs me down. My mind is full of shadows from the love my heart can not express. I am second in command of the government, utterly loyal to Lin-Sat. I should be happy to be the most powerful woman on the planet. But what is power with out love, or fame without hope. This is drudgery, but I do this because I love the people. I love them. I am the only thing that protects them from Lin-Sat's cruelty. I must continue on for the sake of them. If I told Lightmer Witmer my mental anguish he would not understand. He might even betray me. If not him, who can I trust?

In accordance with Lin-Sat's desires, I accompany Lightmer Whitmer to my jet to take him to Beijing. We sit comfortable in the sleek, black leather seats. I pilot the small black fighter jet myself. I feel quite at ease, but Lightmer is pale and nervous.
"Lightmer, if I were to tell you a secret, would it remain confidential?" I ask the Minister of Psychology.

"Confidentiality is the basis of the profession my Lady, without trust there can be no theraputic gains"
Hmmm...an interesting turn of events Lightmer ponders to himself...perhaps I will be able to learn something to my advantage or indeed build up enough trust to be able to evade her watchfulness... I only hope that if I do not find a way to escape, the phoney transcripts and papers I bought outside the ministry of Terror are worth what I paid for them.
"Now what is it that is on your mind?"

"I have more power than anyone could ever desire, yet I feel empty and sad. I should be happy. I am famous. The people worship me. I need to be happy for them....but...its so very hard....so hard...because of HIM," I said, then became dull and silent. "Never mind, my duty is to the people. I will serve Red Infinity and HIM, with my heart and soul. I can not afford these petty feelings of sadness." I say.
I focus on piloting and say no more.

Who could she be referring to...could it be Lin Sat?! Interesting, perhaps "red infinity" is not as stable as it seems. More importantly perhaps I have an important sympathizer here with me...after all, if the rumors are true, in many ways we are siblings. Her a clone produced in the Mininstry of Science, and I an abomniation, the product of science gone wrong.
Lightmer pauses and curses the Troll blood running in his veins. The very blood that forces him to take horrible medications to supress his choatic troll side.
Not wanting to push Lady Violet for information and needing time to ponder the implications for what he just found out, Lightmer lets the silence hang.

I pilot the jet for hours, and we arrive in Beijing at dusk. The large city seems more dead than alive tonight, as skeletal people snake though the streets begging for food. It breaks my heart. We pass the Mosseleum of Mao Zadung, and I bow my head in respect. At last, we arrive at the towering fortress that is Red Infinity's International HQ.
I suddenly feel a lump in my throat. I am afraid for Dr. Whitmer.
We take the great black elevator up to the 52nd floor, the highest floor in the building.
I sombrely march Dr. Whitmer to Lin-Sat's grand office.
I don't bother knocking, since we are nearly equals. I enter, and the sight of his handsome cruelty oppresses me once again.

(To whom it may concern, Lightmer has gone gone to sleep, but he gave me permission to act on his behalf))
Lightmer explains everything that he told to Violet. His time in Moscow and Beijing. His work under Dr. Krashnev, and so on. He puts forth the false documents to prove his lies.
I am silent and sad. My thoughts at times betray me, but I am submissive to him. I will do anything that Lin-Sat asks, out of love for Red Infinity, if not out of fear of Lin-Sat. "His records seem to check out, honorable sir. He has his college transcripts and everything. A very bright student he was. President of the Psychology club and student representative. He joined us after college, as it indicates here," I say hoping that Lin-sat will overlook some obvious inconsistencies.

"Thank you, merciful and great Lin-Sat. You're praises will be sung through the ages." I say as I bow. I escort Lightmer out the door.
"You are a fraud, but our great leader has shown you mercy. Rather than rott in a prison camp, you can redeem yourself by proving your loyalty," I tell the doctor as I walk with him to the dark elevator.
The burdon on my heart has been lifted, and I am glad that Lin-Sat showed this man mercy. Certainly, it was only out of need for good help, not out of concern for Dr. Whitmer.
I go to my quarters and change out of my drab tan military clothes and slip on a red silk night gown. I open the windows to my room and let the night air in. It smells of the coal of factories and the sweat of workers. The air has a sweet stench tonight. It refreshes me. I have been renewed.

The rebels escaped the city, so I was forced to go to Helsinki, a hot bed for rebelion. I spoke directly with Lady Violet who told me to exterminate the rebels at all costs. I was given permission to utilize the full force of my power, even if it leveled the city. This senseless destruction did not settle well with me, but who am I to question orders. I was given special orders to kill Dr. Dayspring, a rebel scientist who was once a member of Red Infinity. His crime is involvement with a secret anti-government project. The details of this project are unknown to me. That sort of information is not entrusted to me. I wonder if Violet even knows the nature of the project.
It seems Lin-Sat has the monopoly on power and information....
The city was bright and alive. A shame that I would have to end that.

I go to my classes and we have a surpirze test on the cold war. I am handed the exam. I complete it in one point three minutes and acheive 100%. The professors accuses me of cheating and I am dismissed from the class. I may have to meet with the Dean about this. As I leave, I see Genovia scowl at me. I get the feeling that she doesn't like me.
I speak with her later in the commons hall.....
"Genovia, how so did you do on the exam?"
