The Red Sun Lingers

Suzumi hung her head, downcast. "I-I dislike this, but I understand, Mr. Bassarov. But how are we going to stop Red Infinity by hiding? I know we should bide our time...but if we just run away, we aren't accomplishing anything. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'll think of something. Maybe I can infiltrate the Red Infinity headquarters. They don't have any records of me... " She continued on, "I wish you all the best of luck, and hope I'll see you all someday soon." Her eyes were brimming with tears, and she blinked a few times to keep them from flowing.
Suzumi turned to leave, to a destination unbeknownst to even her.

Bassarov heads toward the train station. The sky is overcast and it begins to rain. At first the rain is gentle. By the time he nears the station, it is raining like bullets. Drenched he runs toward the station is despairation.

Bassarov had left and Patrick turned to the remaining people. "Well, I for one am sick of hiding from these Red Infinity bastards," Patrick said. He too realized that he was no match for the Red Infinity, but was just frustrated. "This world has gone to hell," he said, "it's up to people like us to make it better."

[Maeve]

Maeve knew she had to find Kaieka fast, before she left town. After spending hours searching the streets for her Maeve saw the cloaked outline of a woman in the dark. Maeve quickly recognized it Kaieka. She seemed oblivous to what was around her.
*She is in love. Thought Maeve, Why else would her gaurd be so low in this decrepit part of town?*
Maeve quickend her pace and silently drew her Katana.
Keiaka turned and looked back at her. Maeve felt her face grow hot and her sword shook in her hand.
"I have come to take you back to the Ministry of Terrror Kaieka!! You have made a terrible decsion supporting that rebel Bassarov and you will face the consequences!"

[Kaieka]

Ah! Maeve, another Kurajin in employ at the Ministry of Terror, and an excellent fighter. So they had sent her to bring me back. Well, I won't go without a fight. The rain is falling in harsh needles as I draw my kris and ready myself for an attack.

"I do not wish to fight you Maeve, but if you desire it, I will"

[Maeve]

"So Be it!" shouted Maeve, who swung a downward stroke at Kaieka that was blocked.
Kaieka then attacked Maeve who blocked and struck, using the momentum to fly backwards.
Maeve felt wetness trick down her neck.
Rain? She felt it and instead of water there was the stickeyness of blood.
"I forgot what a challenge you are Kaieka! But that does not mean you can evade Justice!"
Mave than flew back in to take Kaieka down.

[Kaieka]

"Maeve, you must have been training," I say and smile, as I stop her attack once more. She thrusts at my chest and I dissipate into mist to escape the blow, only to reappear behind her to plant my foot squarely in her back.

"Do you really believe that justice is defined by this government? Surely you have been around long enough to see otherwise. It is too bad that you have taken the source of your paycheck too seriously."

[Janele]

I collect my thoughts. "So Bassarov is in love with Kaieka. That is why he is leaving by himself." I say to myself. I feel hurt. "But...she tries to kill me and right after I saved his life." I say accidentally saying aloud.

[Maeve]

Maeve felt Kaieka's heel grinding in her back and began to shake.
"How dare you question Red Infinity!?" She shouted as she twisted her arm around Kaieka's knee and brought her to the ground. As Kaieka began to get back up Maeve kicked her in the stomach and climbed on top her, drawing her dagger from her boot.
" I give you two choices Kaieka. You die or you come with me! Do you really think that Bassarov man is worth it? That he loves you? No! you are just another pawn to him! That is why you need to come with me now and maybe you will be shown a little mercy."

[Calithin]

" I was instructed to come and find you by my comander... I uh... we want to know if you are an ally or an enemy, I don't mean to sound rude it's just that... with the fight against Red infinity the dictartors on Earth and Ukko the evil god in allience with them it's hard to know who to trust... that is why I'm here."

Patrick looked to Janele. "Bassarov is a strange one," he said.

[Kaieka]

I smile as I spit blood out of my mouth.
"Kill me? You should know more than anyone else that you cannot kill me. Even if your precious Red Infinity would allow you to kill one of its top assassins, I am undead. If you chop me to pieces, I will return one day. Go ahead, stick that dagger in me. You are so blind. You have been so corrupted by this government that you cannot even see to support your own kind. Oh, and he does love me. It's too bad that you have never experienced such a thing. You just grow old, used, and unloved... Pitiful, and simply unable to escape such a horrid life."

[Maeve]

"Love is an illusion that I do not belive in, unlike the very real pain you are about to feel, traitor!"
Mave then thrust the dagger into Kaieka. She could feel her go limp and helpless underneath her. Maeve then took the rope from her belt and tied Kaieka and dragged her to her feet by her hair.
"Now, we are going to pay a vist to Kith my dear. I think perhaps even Lady Violet will be interested in you."
Maeve then picked her up and flew to the Ministry of Terror. She kicked in Kith's door and let the bleeding Kaieka fall to the floor.
"Knock, knock Kith. I have a present for you."
