* gets a purely evil smirk, and fiddles with the sword a bit more* "Good, it will be my pleasure to rid the world, of another blood sucking neusence such as yourself." *glances at the woman* " Do not interfear, this is there fight, you may take a number on the vampire though."

Bassarov stands up. His crisp white shirt is now torn and covered in blood.
"Listen to me. This fight is pointless. Go back to Kaieka and tell her that I don't give a d**n about her or any woman. Tell her that, though I doubt it will help the likes of you to win her love. Or maybe just give her some money and see what that will buy. It bought her allegiance to Red Infinity....it might even help you."

"Do you think that a woman like Kaieka would hold any alegance to this government? You are more stupid than I thought. As for whether she will love me, she will, I have my certain charms that women cannot resist." This man was as good as dead, "But as for this fight, it will not be over until you are dead and your blood runs on the streets and down my throat."

*looks up* Vampires huh, you guys let the evil gods have one right, that must be it, thats the only explination, for vampires.
*looks to the beast* " I doubt no matter what charms to think you have...that any woman...or vampiress, would even spare you a glance, your nothing more than an abomination of nature...a mistake of the universe to put it lightly, I quite frankly would prefer your kind dead and gone, the world would be a much better place, and less people would die at your hands." *fiddles with the sword*

Suzumi glowered at newcomer and swished her tail again, unwittingly. "I'm not planning to." She lowered her head at Bassarov's declaration and stared at the floor of the balcony in silence, as she thought to herself. 'Yes you do, Mr. Bassarov. You just won't admit it, even to yourself. If she's made such an obviously immense impact upon you, why can't you see it? She can't be too bad if you felt that you need to restate what you said before.' She felt an urge to fly, to leap off the balcony and assume the form of a falcon, or some other bird. She resisted the urge to do so, even though she desperately wanted to go and think over this new revelation. She sighed and spoke aloud. "I s'pose I'd better go get the bandages again." 'Where's Arkady? If he's still asleep, with all of this happening, I'll be amazed."

"If she really wanted you, you woudn't be here fighting me," Bassarov reasoned.
Bassarov was exhausted from fighting his immortal foe, and the blood loss was not helping the situation. He could feel his strength waning. Yet, as his strength decreased his will to fight on, increased. It now seemed that Lachek was not as quick as he once was. The fight became easier, and Bassarov was getting more hits in.

What Bassarov said angered Lachek. 'Why wouldn't he die?' He was a stronger fighter than Lachek had expected. His wounds were increasing, and he suddenly began to question how this fight would end. He had to win though, he couldn't let some mortal imbicile beat him. He was certain of that.

When Surma heard those words,he said,"Yes thats true Yohko, but with you by my side,I know I'll remember how it feels like to fall in love..And if I ever use this denomic power of mine,I might be lucky to remember what feelings, emotions, and what friends are."

Suzumi couldn't stand this fight anymore. She climbed over the rail of the balcony, and perched upon it. She grew increasingly agitated as the fight continued. Somehow it seemed that the tables were turning, and the fighters were becoming more evenly matched. She sat there, silently pleading to the gods and fates to take it easy on poor Bassarov.

With new found resolve, Lachek lunged at Bassarov. His delicate butterfly knife plunged into Bassarov's ribs in the very place where a day before, Kaieka plowed her claws.
Bassarov wailed in pain and fell to the ground. He spat some blood onto the pavement. Pain immobilized Bassarov for a few critical seconds.
With Bassarov immobile, Lachek implanted his knife into Bassarov's back, causing Bassarov to scream, then weeze. Bassarov heard the dark voice in his head, the voice of the spirit of evil, Chornebogk...he past incarnation. The voice empowered him and gave him the strength to get up. Lachek came at him again, but this time, Bassarov sprung out of the way, spun around, and with all of his force, hit Lachek in the leg with his sickle.
