While the doctors tend to Lightmer's wounds he reflects on the events.
"I have been shown mercy. Am I wrong about trying to stop Red Infintiy? So it seems.

Lightmer prepares for his journey back to St. Petersburg and the Ministry. There will be a lot of work to do when he gets back, but tommarow is a new day, a new day for socialism!

I smile to myself as Lightmer leaves. I did it. I brought him back to us. The world will not be brought together under Red Infinity by fear, violence, and war, but by love, compassion, and mercy.
I wave him farewell and notice that my arm is caked with blood.
