He wasn't expecting it and is hit full on. Luckily, the blast was only powerful enough to knock him unconscious. "I'm sorry, but you are not being rational. Perhaps when you awake, you will have come to your senses." I stare down at him. He is strong and attractive. I hadn't seen him in so long. I guess that my plans to go and find him have been altered. Our paths are different, but they have always been. He seeks out his demon and has no care for politics. I only want to see the world restored and the masses benefitted. "What will become of us?" I ask to his limp form.

I attempt to exlplain myself.
"I have been hunting Kuro for 6 months. I did not rest during that time. I can not remember when I last ate. I am not hungry for food. I am hungry for the blood of that demon. He must be detroyed. While this person stabbed the goddess, Patrick got behind him and stabbed him through the shoulder. The heat from his sword caught him on fire, but he did not die.

But it is so good to see you. You look happier than the last time I saw you. I am glad.
How are you? Has Lin-Sat been treating you well? You do not have to endure his abuse.
I know you are too nice to stand up to him, but you should not let him treat you so cruelly. Just a while longer Violet. Once I kill Kuro you can leave Red Infinity and we can be together at last.

I think of Lin sat, feelings of both love and hate swarm over me. "Lin Sat is treating me fine." I say in response. There are so many emotions, but I will keep them hidden. Mikomi must not know how I truly feel. But to hear him say that I could leave Red Infinity... I have no desire to do such a thing. The people are my life, and Red Infinity is the only way to serve them to my fullest capacity.
"I do hope that you find Kuro," I say, "But just as finding and killing him is your life, and all that you care about is seeking him; my life consists of Red Infinity. I cannot leave it. I seek after the good of the people." I step toward him and take his hand in mine. "It is good to see you Mikomi.

Devan than absorbed the fire that was around his body.

She said she was tired of Lin-Sat and the evil things Red Infinity has done. Something has changed and I do not like it. When she is my wife, she will not have time for those duties to Red Infinity. I will remain silent. We can work that out later. I know she will do as I request. She always does.

This man standing before me giving me praise seems so distant. I know that I should reciprocate his feelings, but my own feelings are so uncertain at this point. There's Lin Sat and Kith and.... But I do love Mikomi, and I have given him my word that I am his. "I am glad that I can be a part of your renewal... Now, if you haven't eaten for such a long time, perhaps we should get something to eat."
