I sit at my desk. Devan brought in some rebels earlier that I need to question, but right now my thoughts are on a different thing: Lady Violet. She is so beautiful and the epitomy of everything I desire, and yet she is always out of reach. I think of how sad she has been of late and want to comfort her, but it is not my place. She is in love with a demon slayer who is all wrong for her. He cares nothing for politics and the ideals that she loves, she needs someone who does. She needs me. And Lin Sat... maybe those are just rumors...

[shadow=red,left,300]I march down the halls of the Ministry of Terror. I push some weak soldiers out of my way. I go upstairs to Kith's office. He will pay for what he has done. He even managed to make me lose valuable time in my fight against Kuro.
I enter his office.
"Hello, Kith. I thought I would pay you a visit. We have things to talk about."
I can't stand him. He's sitting there, looking smug in his black trenchcoat. What does Lady Violet see in him. He is nothing but a weak fool.

My door opened. It was him, Mikomi, the very person I was just thinking about. I remain seated as I acknoledge him. "Hello Mikomi. I thought you were in other corners of the world chasing demons." He looks livid. I can't imagine why he would come here, I have no information on the whereabouts of Kuro. What could Violet see in him?

The pain that suddenly comes is excrutianing, but I summon my own attack and aim it at him. "Silent Anguish" The same attack that obliterated Helsinki, that should do some damage.

[shadow=red,left,300]I use my psychic energies to shield myself from the blast. The blast is deflected and travels through the wall of the building.
"I expected better, elf!"
With that I gather my mental energy and create a mind blowing attack meant to paralyze him for a moment.
In the moment of shock, I punch him in the face, sending him flying across his desk.
I pounce on him, punching him in the face repeatedly.
"Maybe she won't find you so attractive once I mess up that pretty face of yours!" I scream as I punch him.

He attacks me and I grapple for my sword. Throwing punches to keep him from overpowering me. "Even if you make my face hideous, I would still be a better catch than you." There, I was able to pull my sword free. Trusty Hiredugarn. I lash out with the blade, hitting mostly air. I guess fighting demons was pretty good training in battle. Well, I am a good fighter too. Finally, the blade makes contact.

"She would never want you...you are nothing but a sentimental weakling. How you managed to seduce her is beyond me. Maybe you elves have some sort of magical spells that you put on women. I don't care to know!"
I focus my energy and create an orb of purple flames in my hand. The energy ball grows larger and larger.
"Take this!"

The energy ball hits me and knocks me to the ground. The pain is emmense and I can hardly move. I spit blood out of my mouth. "I don't need magic... I just have a heart, that's all". I need to get up. I can't let him kill me. She deserves better than him.

I blast him in the head with my energy. When I am done, his face is blackened and bloody. He is dead.
"I hope she was worth it, fool."
I turn around to walk out the door. I see a picture of Violet on Kith's desk.
I feel a twinge of anger.
"Good riddance."

I lay in a pile on the floor, but soon use my power to heal myself. Mikomi is surprized when my silent anguish blast hits him full on from behind. "You didn't think I'd die that easily, did you?"
