Patrick was worried that Janele hadn't rested enough to get up and eat, but he diidn't stop he from trying. She was a lot stronger than he had thought because she not only managed to get up and eat, but did so in high spirits. Patrick ate some cereal and then clean the table for everyone.

I sat on the couch and watched Patrick clean. "You know what you are the only guy that I know that cleans the table." I tell him by sending through my mind.

Bassarov wonders when and where Lady Violet will speak. He is her enemy, but she might take the time to meet with him if she saw him in the audience. There is much he could gain from speaking with her.
